Hi Everyone,
So I always thought these things looked well, funny. So I never attempted to find out more information about them. A gf of mine had one this weekend and she said it had nicotine in it and yet it didn't cause me to smell. I also didn't need to go to the liquor store to get another pack. So, I'm ready to buy one for myself. Here is my question. Is there any flavor that does smell? Will every type prevent that from happening? Also, I'm a marlboro red smoker for the last ten years. Could someone recommend a type that would have a strong enough of a drag to it. I'm not really worried about the price. I just want something that doesn't smell and that will eventually help me with quitting.....

Thanks so much!!

When you refer to "smell," I'm assuming you're talking about the vapor in the air...or are you referring to your clothes afterward? As for either concern, there is no appreciable lingering smell to speak of, especially when it comes to clothing. You might notice the scent from a strong-flavored e-juice, but usually it's pleasant and will diminish given a short period.

As you are a Marlboro Red smoker, I would recommend an e-juice with at least an 18mg/ml nicotine concentration, possibly 24mg. I personally use 24mg, and it always delivers a good throat hit.

I second the Riva at Liberty Flights....that'll certainly be a great starter kit for you...good luck with your future purchases!

Perfect! The amount of mg was my next question! Thanks so much...So I love the idea that I won't smell and neither will the air around me. What about my breath? lol :)

There are a lot of different devices.
I would suggest taking a few hours to read the site. Check out the supporting vendors, read device reviews, & liquid reviews. Asking for advice on which starter kit or juice will net you 200 different answers.

Welcome to the forum!

Thanks so much I will def take some time looking around the forum!

Hi Jen,
I have seen lots of Marlboro flavors at Gourmet Vapor. As for the strength levels of juice to cigarettes -6, 8, 11mg would be considered low. 12, 16, 18, would be considered medium to high, and above 18 high and extra high -- most sites offer their juice up to 24mg.

Good luck and welcome! Please feel free to add me as a friend -- I'd love to hear how it goes for you :)

D

And PS: Some flavors are stronger than others and if you drip a nicotine juice, they might smell like that juice -- but on the whole I feel that ejuice does not smell, or only slightly, but not enough to stink anything up! - as for your breath, I smoke menthol and so my dear husband is enjoying the minty taste :) But you will need to drink a lot of water as the PG tends to give you a bit of dry mouth.

i too was a marlboro smoker. i started with the 18mg and ive worked down to 8 mg cuz i like to vape more often. i used vaporkings.com <vkbc for 10 percent> got a joye 510 and an ego . i get my juice from mrs ts bakery, vaporbomb, diyflavorshack, and flavor apprentice. good luck and stick with the ecig you wont regret it and in 4 weeks youll notice how better you feel and as for the smell... the ecig smells alot better than a stinky marlboro anyday !!! :)

As others have said, most of the vapes will not have any scent at all. Those that do typically only come from the really strong flavors but are light, pleasant and dissipate rapidly. The scents will not cling to your clothes, hair, towels, walls, etc. like cigarette smoke does. The residual smoke smells are pretty easy to get rid of in your car, house, clothes, etc. with something as simple (and cheap) as white vinegar.

Welcome to ECF and to vaping.

These pretty much take care of all of the olfactory negatives of smoking. :) After a month things start tasting better too. Look around the forum ask questions, get vaping on whatever you decide, and throw those cigs away! Good luck and welcome.
