Hi Guys,

Finally decided to emerge form the shadows of this forum and start posting. Been prowling it for eons.

Anyways, I'm not new to vaping and have been mixing my own nic-free juices for a while. Recently however, I got a bottle of conc. nic juice to add to my usual mixes. The concentrate was supposedly 48mg/ml and after doing my calculations, and verifying it with a juice calc, I decided to whip myself up a batch. ATROCIOUS. Terrible throat hit, stinking smell. Now this was diluted down to 9mg/ml so none of this should have occurred. I've rounded the matter down to the nic juice i have. The juice seems to have a yellowy tinge and smells rather potent.

So basically, my question is, does stale nic juice affect throat hit that tremendously? Or could it be the nic juice I received was mislabelled (actually it wasn't even labelled, i took the supplier's word for it.) and was actually of a much greater concentration? Adding 2 intsy wintsy droplets to a 10ml nic free juice seems to give it a throat hit of a regular 12mg juice. I have no clue if it's the nic doing the work or something else. And lastly, is it safe to vape? Vaped 5ml of it so far and no ill effects yet though....

Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks guys!

Aiee.. Thanks for your response. Does it means it's unsafe to use? Nic is hard to come by where I come from so I got it from the only supplier whom I know deals with it here. And I have absolutely no clue where he got it form. How can it be tested may I ask?

It's prolly safe to vape. I no longer test my juice as it goes straight to a Lab.
Here's cheap way. More info within the website:

Here's a thread about a kit from eBay- at bottom a member has posted a video:

Hey! Thank you all for your replies! Your knowledge is much appreciated! Anyways since it's a small amount I doubt I'd be going through the hassle of testing and all. Nonetheless, I never knew that could be done so that was really informational. Thanks Vapoor eyes er!

You're welcome John. Just remember when storing your Nic juice the 3 enemies of it are heat, air and light. Use what you need and store in a triple lock freezer bag in the freezer. I've got some from 2+ yrs ago and still looks and vapes great.
I'm guessing as to where you live you may want to check out:
