What exactly does this have to do with vaping one might ask? This one is asking. Oh i know, it helps get the rubbery film off your teeth from vaping gycerine? Im really confused now i think
The subtext I got was “YOU FOOLS! here you are vaping when all you had to do was mix up a semi toxic potion of orange juice and over the counter chemicals!”

As if the people trying not to die here have not already tried multiple smoking cessation methods already. But no! Some ridiculous home remedy is BOUND to do the trick

So I'm yea. Maybe it works for ppl differntly but even with the concentrate OJ it is working( I have cut down on my smoking dramatically. Maybe just in my mind but it's working.) I just wanted to know why not concentrate.
A placebo often works via power of the mind.

pla·ce·bo
/pləˈsēbō/
A harmless pill, medicine, or procedure prescribed more for the psychological benefit to the patient than for any physiological effect.
  1. "his Aunt Beatrice had been kept alive on sympathy and placebos for thirty years"
    • a substance that has no therapeutic effect, used as a control in testing new drugs.
    • a measure designed merely to calm or please someone.

The OP is talking about mixing a small amount (hopefully) of cream of tarter (potassium bitartrate) with orange juice then drinking it.

Doesn't matter what you mix the COT with, the carrier (fruit juice or whatever) is just used to make it palatable enough to swallow.
That and fresh squeezed OJ is already fairly high in potassium and enters your system more rapidly.

Purposefully ingesting excess potassium is great way to jack your entire system up, your body naturally balances potassium level, messing with that balance is just flat not a good idea.

Hyperkalemia Definition
By Mayo Clinic Staff

Hyperkalemia is the medical term that describes a potassium level in your blood that's higher than normal. Potassium is a chemical that is critical to the function of nerve and muscle cells, including those in your heart.

Your blood potassium level is normally 3.6 to 5.2 millimoles per liter (mmol/L). Having a blood potassium level higher than 6.0 mmol/L can be dangerous and usually requires immediate treatment.

OJ is a frequently used abbreviation for orange juice, the common breakfast drink and adult beverage mixer. Also refers to a former NFL athlete accused (probably guilty, even though acquitted) and serving a prison sentence for related crime(s)

Definitely guilty of the double murder, IMO. Served time for unrelated crimes (armed robbery), in a different state. Now paroled.

Everyone forgets, he won the criminal case, but lost the wrongful death civil suit that came after. He was found guilty....

OH MY GOD I really thought she was vaping it!!!!!!!!!!

LOL doesn't sound like drinking it is much better.

But I am going to go with "IF the glove FITS, you can CONCENTRATE it."

You are welcome. One of my few mini poems.

Lady, good luck. I hope your quitting efforts don't cause you more health problems than smoking and best of luck to you, but I know absolutely nothing about this method and I'm kind of grateful

I stand corrected. I only spewed the bits of the "news" my ignorance didn't purge already lol. One of those sensationalized stories the "news" force-fed society to keep the sheeple eating popcorn in front of the TV.

On the topic of the citrus fruit-based juice that this thread relates to... It's crazy, but I can't drink OJ without GETTING A COLD. Now, here is the kicker. I CAN eat oranges without any cold/flu symptoms. Is there a doctor in the house?? Maybe just an imaginary correlation. I like to believe it. No need to debunk.

Hate that word “sheeple”. Everyone seems to think it’s other people who are the sheeple but not them. They’re usually wrong. All people are vulnerable to manipulation. Thinking one is not makes a person more vulnerable rather than less.
