Several of my posts were never posted. I get the message that says something to the effect that a moderator will have to approve my message before posting. Why?

I am starting to think that this site is not so much for the free exhange of ideas, but rather a gathering place for suppliers to sell thier product. Everything visible to the public seems to be controlled by a moderator.

I just want to learn about e cigs, PVs etc and not have half of my comments and everyone elses be censored.

Have never experienced this problem. Once you ge a hang of the rules this place is really chill. It's a place for adults and everyone here acts like one. Maybe you posted a curse word or did you sign up with an account before you create this account and forgot about it by accident maybe? I am not accusing you of anything so I'm sorry if this post sounded that way at all, those are the only reasons I can think of that you'd ever get that message. Actually you wouldn't even get that message upon posting, you'd get it after you posted and a moderator caught the issue. I'm kinda bad at explaining things so forgive me lol.

Sounds as though you may have attempted to post in the "Ask The Veterans" forum. Those post are moderated because they are not meant for discussion, only answers. One of the recognized experts will be along to answer your question soon enough, if this be the case.

You may also find this to answer some other questions revolving around post limits.

It is as j0ker said. I checked your post history and 3 of your posts were in the Ask the Veterans forum. All posts made in that forum, regardless of the post count of the person posting are hidden (or moderated, if you will) untill a veteran member can provide an answer. At which time, both your question and the answer are available for all to view.

Hope this clears up the confusion. And welcome to ECF!

Well lemme tell yah, I have these feelings, strooong feelings!!

Like this onetime i asked the Magic 8ball a question, and it says " Ask again later"
And i was like "Omg!! thats exactlly what i was thinking!!"

And the feelings i get about this site is.. It really seems catered to the people and community. The vendors seem to be on the back burner available for the people.

Maaaybe the deal with the 8ball was a crazy fluke, Ill never know for sure.
