I'll head over to the veterans forum and do some answering. Guess we've been a little lax.. ^_^
Edit: Guys, please stop closing the threads in the veterans forum if the question isn't actually answered. Granted..they might autoclose, but there are a few in there that look to be only half answered.
They are closed to prevent the thread from going off course.. once the thread is answered that should be it.... granted some answers would lead to more questions .. that is why it is important for threads created to be as detailed as possible.
As far as threads that seem not to have answered the question... that is probably as far as it was able to go... and we try not to leave threads "away" for too long of a period....
I apologize if I haven't been at 100% I will make a note... if it is something would be better for more detailed responses out in the open forum .. I usually provide a link if needed so...
Is there any feedback if a question posted to ATV is determined by the mods not to pass muster, or should one just assume as much with the passage of time if it never appears?
Your thread is waiting for answers..since it was recently posted
... if it doesn't "pass muster" meaning asking for subjective opinions, or question that is felt best for the OP to be answered in another specific area in ECF ,where there is more traffic,it will either be moved.. OR a post requesting for the thread be created in the area with a link provided.
if you check your "created posts" from your profile "stats" you can see if the thread is around.. if you see it... it is open to view.. if you don't see it... it is in the ATV waiting for answers..
Again we try not to keep threads in "limbo" for more than a couple of days...but please understand a lot of threads are created in the ATV and less traffic.. the Vets that reply try to give the answer that will help not only the requester.. but other readers as well.
thank you for your understanding
ADD: if you look at the stickies in the ATV I believe it explains it a little better than I can
