Conclusion about Ego T Type B Attys

I have come to the conclusion, after about 5 months of vaping, that if I spend $26 or so every 6 weeks to get a couple of new attys, I am a happy camper and ahead of the smoking game, moneywise.

I have fiddled with them, tried every cleaning method discussed here and elsewhere, kept nursing a low-performing one along for extra time, and generally been a frustrated futz about them.

No more! Considering what I was spending on cigarettes, $26 for attys and $20-30 juice per month, plus a 5 pack of type B tanks every couple of months or so is just plain CHEAP. And I'm happier for my decision.

I agree with you. Attys are a disposable item. Lots of people want to squeeze as much life out of an atty or carto as they can. I don't clean cartos (well, occasionally.. not never, but not often), and when an atty starts acting up, I don't mind setting it aside or tossing it in the trash. That goes for all the different kinds of attys I use including the ego-t's.

I averaged about 6 weeks out of each pair of ego-t attys when I was using the ego-t a lot. That was just fine with me. When they start to leak or don't perform well any more and standard cleaning (blow out and hot water bath with a couple of dry burns) doesn't revive them, I set them aside. Maybe one day I'll tear them all down and re-wick and do a proper clean on them, but probably not.

I seldom use my ego-t now, but still do a couple of times a week. So, I would guess my attys will last months due to being idle most of the time. but even if I killed them at the same rate, I'd feel the same.

I agree. One of my favorite ways to vape is with an Ego-T Type B large tank, but I've been getting longer than 6 weeks out of the attys. A near tie or slightly better is the new Ego Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer. It's too early to tell yet how long they last, but one of the big selling points is the huge amount of juice they hold - more than double the Type B tank. In terms of overall performance, I think that the EMDCC is slightly better, and there are no leaking or seeping issues. At $2.49 each, they just might be the overall winner.

They fit the Ego batteries perfectly, look nice, and I can't find anything to dislike about them yet. I'm now on my 6th or 7th day on one, and it still performs like new - maybe richer and fuller flavor than new. I have stayed with the same juice for the test, so I have no idea how changing juice might go. I've also used one on a 3.7 volt mod with outstanding results, so these things are winners.
