I got my first bottle of
juice yesterday and tried two methods. The first was direct dripping onto the batting inside with the end cap and seal removed (I took all of my cartos apart for initial cleaning as I bought then pre filled with the nasty tasting
juice), and also tried the "condom fill" method from the mouth piece end (I have an auto rn4081). the second process is quick and easy, but just a tad bit messy. I've found it is also a good idea to let the cartos sit and soak through for at LEAST an hour. It might just be the particular cartos I have, but they seem to hold quite a bit more juice than just a half-condom-fill (or maybe I have shorty condoms? lol). Rolling the cartos across the table seems to help distribute the juice through the carto (making sure both ends are capped off before doing this to avoid a mess!).
I also have a three piece BE401 clone (Xhale02)which I am refilling the carts with. The battery on it doesn't last quite as long as the 4081's do but it has a much smoother pull and with the atomizer it has, makes a stronger hit. It is also MUCH easier to fill than the 4081. the biggest problem I have with it is the carts it came with are really really cheap-- there is practically NO batting in it! It is basically just a small little tuft.... So, my next objective for it is either buying better quality carts for it (easy way out) or picking up some of that blue foam to replace the dust bunny that's in them now. (I'm not one to throw away things that can be fixed!)
Since this topic is really about filling on the battery end (and the reason I originally started to post!), I have a concern about using this method. Using cartos, aren't you wasting excessive juice which clings to the threads while filling? Plus, wouldn't you risk gumming up the battery connection if you don't clean the tip off well enough? Just wondering....
