Using a syringe is way better IMO, I tired the condom method and found it to be very lacking. Juice would only fill up half and unevenly and found my cartos burning way to soon. I took one apart and saw it for my own eyes that the condom method is very ineffective alone.

I don't need to take my carto apart to see the juice distribution. It's translucent white.

Hmm, how long-steady vaping do you get from dripping it/syringe? I've only ever used the condom and get 45 min. I'm happy w/ that because it's very quick for me.

I recently switched to more VG and now, yeah, I end up blowing some out. When I was using 70PG/30VG, I could fill the small condom just short of halfway for a refill, and not need to blow it out at all.

Then again, I fill from the top w/ the cap on, and it doesn't go thru the center tube.

I only use the condom method via the batt end on the initial fill of my 510 cartos. Fill until the joose flows to the top of the filler material. Let sit... top off. I dislike filling with syringes.

Here is my method for joye 510 carto using the fill hole. This is equally effective for both initial fill and refills:

    1) Use a white carto so the juice is visible through the carto when held up to a light.
    2) Use a small slot-headed jewelers screwdriver to pop off the mouth cap and the cap beneath it.
    3) Stick the screwdriver in the fill hole and twist to open the hole.
    4) Hold the carto in front of the light and inject juice into it until the juice visibly makes contact with the atty.
    5) Using an empy syringe, pump some air down the fill hole so there is no juice floating above the filler.
    6) Using the empty syringe, suck excess juice out of the bottom of the carto.
    7) Replace the caps. Until you get good at it, you might have to repeat sucking out the excess juice a few times.

I dont quite understand how anyone could have a problem with the condom filling method?

The way I fill clean cartos is the standard way but I will fill it enough to where there is a puddle on the mouthpiece side and let it stand for 30 minutes with the battery end slightly in the cap. Then blow into the mouthpiece side to get rid of the extra juice and then again let it sit in the condom/cap to let any extra juice drip out. Then just take the excess liquid and put it back into the bottle. after that I will just drip to top it off.

Been using he cap method for two weeks now and have not had any issues with it. I fill from the batt end and ususally let my carto sit for a while on a fresh fill... 5-10 minutes. (Once I let a carto sit over night and the next day it looked liked it need to be filled again but I didn't. I vaped that sucker for the entire morning like 4 hours before having to fill it again. No dripping or extra juice... just major vapor everytime I pushed the button of my eGo and took a toot.)

I've tried dripping but needed something that lasted longer incase I misplaced or forgot my juice. Filling my cartos using the cap method has been a very nice experience for me.

I too hate needles however and have never tried the syringe method.

I have no fear of needles, in that I use syringes when I mix up my DIY. I just don't like pokin' around in the filler or past a tank rubber end cap. Then there's that syringe clean up afterwards...

Yeah... that would be too much work for me. Just one of the reason that I also dislike using attys now to drip. Too many steps.

I tried the "condom method." Pffft! make sure to bring a towel. I really think people only like it because it's kind of kinky sounding. Then again, I probably only prefer the syringe method because it feels pharmaceutical.

Now that was funny. Different strokes for different folks. Even though it does sound kinky I actually think the cap method is the lease messy method. I only need a papertowel to make sure my carto is dry (connections and barrel) before I screw it onto the batt.

Syringe is great for fill and go. You can see when its full, you can get all areas with no bubbles, and vape IMMEDIATELY.
Condoms mean fill, wait, fill, wait, top off, wait. Just not for me. When a carto is done, I want to lock and load. Done, simple, fast. When I have to fiddle and HOPE its ready, ruin a carto cause I had to leave and use it, I'll pass. They might be cheap, but they arent free. To each their own, I guess.
