I'm a big fan of Nite Lite Vapor- Line Rider and Gold are two of my favorite juices. I branched out and got a bottle of Harbor Night to try: it's got the usual NLV flavor notes with maybe a focus on cocoa. Not my favorite NLV but definitely a vapeable juice for me. However, I have found that people hate the smell. Because it smells like ferret.
When I started to vape it out, several of my friends commented on the smell- from it being "strangely unidentifiable" to "nasty". My wife didn't like it either and it drove her crazy trying to think what it smelled like. And then one evening I'm vaping it on the couch and she blurts out "ferret!!" She nailed it down to a musky smell that reminded her of ferrets.
Whatever.
About a month later (which was last night), I'm at a bar with some friends from work. I'm vaping Harbor Night. The girlfriend of one of my coworkers gets this mildly disgusted look on her face and starts asking me about my pv. Her face and tone suggested that she was going to give me grief about e-cigs- which she did, but not for the reasons I was thinking. She said she didn't like the smell because it smelled like a ferret.
I'm taking that as an official verification. Luckily I'm down to my last mls which I'm happily vaping inside the solitude of my home. So to recap: NLV Harbor Nights tastes pleasantly of cocoa-tinged tobacco, but it smells like ferret. And people won't like you for vaping it around them.
