I'm currently vaping with a 1300 mah vision spinner and protank 2. I'm using the original coil that came with the tank. I have heard that purchasing different ohm coils can affect different things like resistance and taste. I have no idea which ones do what. Please help explain this to me! I need a new coil!

More ohms= more resistance, which can support higher voltages, which in turn gives you bigger, longer hits and tons of vapor. I use the 2.5 ohm coils in a pro tank 2 with a vision spinner @ 3.9-4.2 volts. love it.
I think the original Protank-2 kits came with two atomizers, potentially a 1.8 and also a 2.4 Ohm. Yet, quality control was lacking and some people received two 2.4 Ohm, or something. If the spinner is your standard battery, it doesn't matter much which head you get as you can adjust the voltage.
Personally, I like the lower Ohm coils as they also work fine with the basic 650 mah battery.

Agree with everyone above. Having variable voltage means you have the option to change the voltage to suit the resistance of the coils. Choose lower resistance (lower ohms) for more of a warmer vape; higher resistance (higher ohms) for a more cooler vape. 2.0 ohms is a nice happy place in the middle.
Get the lower ohm coils if you have vv device as the protanks are cool and airy enough as it is.
