Confused by all the cartotank options

So I've been happily vaping away with my Kanger T3 BCC, and not-so-happily vaping away with my Vision Ego BCC. I also just got a few plain-jane 510 attys to try dripping, which I'm starting to get the hang of. Maybe I'm chasing my own tail, but I'd like to try another delivery method, and carto tanks appeal to me. I have to admit, I'm a little overwhelmed by the choices and I don't want to buy pieces that won't go together. I've poked around here some, checked out other prominent reviewers online and looked at several hardware sites, but I still don't have a warm fuzzy that I'll do it right the first time. Seems like every time I start looking at one that seems good, I find reviews about the loose O-rings, or leaking, etc.

I *think* I would like glass/pyrex tanks, and it needs to be 510. Most of the atomizer heads I've gone through have been on the lower resistance side (1.8-2.4) so I guess LR, but again, my sample size is really small. What would you guys recommend for a first cartotank? I'd rather buy it once than buy it three times, so I don't mind spending a little more up front to not get something I'll want to upgrade immediately.

Suggestions?

An IBTank Carto Tank would be my "only buy it once" suggestion.

Go strait the the "complete tanks" section... https://www.ibtanked.com/complete-tanks

22 to 25 bucks. I like my ohms 2.5 to 3.2 dual laser punched and I like the XL tanks and carto becase they hold more juice. Get the MM Tank that matchs the MM of your mod.

So, if you get an xl pyrex tank, choose XL size cartos.

You will notice if you 10 or more Smok Carto's, the price drops to 1.35 per Carto. They come in boxes of 5.

Many really like Ikenvape Carto's

Many also Like the Boge

I find the Smok are fine and I am a LR kind of guy wth everything ......... EXCEPT CARTO's

I am a Baditude Carto Disciple...... I have 12 IBTanks filed with all different juices. I carry around 6 of them in a zippered pouch and vape away......

( I have so many because there are 3 other vapers in my house and they are always stealing my tanks ...we swap them out like they were trading cards)

PS.. they come with a "thingy" and a bunch of replacement O Rings.....and in all these months and all the use they get, Ive never had to replace a seal yet. They are just that well made and tight fitting. NEVER leak.

I have these too with Boge SR 510 cartos in them as that vendor had a great sale. Great quality tank, no leaking and I like it as much as my ibtanked.

That's just a form factor thing, right? If I don't care if the tank is wider than my batt I can get whatever size I want? I'm using a Vision Spinner 1300 (16.5mm) and an Ego Twist (?mm, but slightly smaller).

My J-tanks have worked for over 2 years, I buy the o-rings (#7) at HomeDepot.
An IBTanked might be next.

Get an IBtanked, it's hard to beat the value of these tanks IMO. I'd also read "Baditude's" blog on carto's/tanks. Invaluable info there for anyone getting into cartos/tanks. I own almost all the popular BCC clearotanks, I personally prefer Cartotanks over anything I've used. Good luck and let us know what you choose!

Yup, I've been sniffing around, and also settled on the IBTanked. You might find better, but not a better one for the money, from what I can tell. Just ordered one yesterday. You can find reviews, including an interview with Harry Gibson the inventor / owner, on Youtube. BTW I called to be sure it was going to be a good fit on my Vamo 2. Good luck.

Another vote for ibtanked. Just ordered a second (and I'm sure more to follow...) I use it on the iTaste vv & ego spinners, and I got the 15mm regular size- looks great on smaller batteries. I like the size b/c I don't like vaping one flavor for very long, and for me it's the perfect amount of juice. Very solid setup- vapor & flavor are great, no leaks, easy to refill/change out cartos. Also, I'd highly recommend ordering some cartos from ikenvape. The Smok ones that come with the tank are good, but I like the ikenvapes better, and there are many choices for different kinds of juice, etc. Plus, the customer service there is outstanding.

The Siam Mods V2 carto punch. Easy, doesn't deform cartos a lot. Count the turns to punch the hole size you want every time.

Well, poop on my biscuits. I settled on a nice setup from IBTanked, got it in my cart, registered for an account and..........they have no option to ship to an APO.

They will ship to North Freaking Korea. But no APO.

I shot them an email 2 days ago, but have not heard back. Does anyone have any insight? The Armed Forces sub-forum had nothing to offer.
