so i have been enjoying fine hand made cigars for a little over 5 years now..i am trying e-liquids and i went and purchased mostly the higher mg ones such has 16mg to 24mg...but i dont get that relaxing buzz im used to getting from my cigars..if anything my tongue feels almost sore, im guessing its from the high nicotine content? or is it that im just so used to the strong cigars that even at 24mg im not noticing anything? and is the sore tongue from the nicotine?

The nicotine in smoke is absorbed and sent to the brain within *seconds*.... with vaping it can take 5-15 minutes. So, you won't get any sort of "buzz," but nicotine isn't a party drug. Since you're already used to cigars rather than cigarettes, just concentrate on holding the vapor in your mouth and throat, and exhaling via your nose; should be pretty similar to cigar technique, and it's by far the best way to get max nic absorption ASAP, which is still going to be 5+ minutes.

ETA: what you might be calling the "buzz" might actually be a toxin, carbon monoxide from burning tobacco -- none of that in vapor.

I know that feeling... Boy, do I MISS that feeling... I have honestly yet to find a vape that has given me the same experience to one of my pipes (or cigars). BUT Learning how to vape fine Naturally Extracted Tobacco (NET) juices has helped a lot. I find though, that the higher nicotine juices won't enhance the flavor, the highest I go with a NET liquid is 11-12mg/ml. It will give a similar feeling when exhaling through the nose as a premium cigar or pipe tobacco.

I didn't smoke cigars, just cigs, but the lack of "buzz" was the first thing I noticed when I started vaping, about a month ago. This was kind of disappointing as I had been told that the "buzz" would definitely be there.

Yet vaping has reduced my desire for cigs, no question. Cigs also taste kinda bad to me now, which is a good thing! And I'm smoking significantly less without really trying!
