Confused on how to connect battery wires or make connection

I trying to build a tube mod and am unclear on how to make a connection to the batteries . How do you guys make a battery connection on plastic tubes when building tube mods and still be able to pull the batteries out to charge them ? Heres a diagram of what i mean and two possible options i can think of . Can someone shed some light on different correct ways to do this ? I need to be able to remove the bottom caps to pull batts somehow .

Nice .Both are great ideas . Ill keep them in mind . Any others ? I actually found a awesome aluminum tube off a camera tripod so im gonna use that for this mod and have the body as the ground . Gotta go look around home depot for some of those faucet caps for my plastic tube .

The thing that will bring your tubes to life is a tap and die with about 46 TPI in what ever diam you are working with. not having them is what led to the faucet caps. instant threads. almost as good as portable holes from Acme.

There is always adhesive copper strips on the inside of the plastic tube for the neg. feed. I have seen them but don't know where to get them.

Yes i have some copper tape but dont think i would use it for making a bat connection since there are more sturdy ways . Almost done with my aluminum tube mod ,about 6 hours in .Etched out all my PCB's now Im just waiting for some epoxy to dry and do the wiring to the reg . Ill make a thread for it when im done . Needs a cool name I gotta be the newest member ever with a nice tube mod . Only known about e cigs and been vaping for about 2 weeks now .

What things are out there that i can find for cheap and turn into a tube mod ? Has to look nice though . Not really a fan of box mods .
