Center post insulator for atty connection?

I'm going to be making a tube mod and I was just wondering how I would insulate a center pin on the atomizer connection? I see on other tube mods there appears to be a rubber or plastic washer (eg. Precise) just wondering where I could find some that would insure a tight fit so it wouldn't wiggle or come loose. Thanks

Thanks for the link. I was thinking more along the lines of an all mechanical mod. In the pictures it shows that little clearish type o ring that the post goes into. I think something like that is what ill probably need. Similar to the precise.

You mean the rubber insulator from the connector itself? They come with these already, if you need another you can get one from an old atty or carto... or maybe you mean something else??

Either a rubber one or a plastic one that has a lip on it that goes down where the post would be. I dunno how to explain it, ill ask dave at super t where he sources his.

Ok, the transparent piece is the part I'm asking about. That big solid "T" is the positive atty post (small crude + sign is the positive part of the battery) that goes into the "insulator for atty post thingy". I'm going to make my own atty connector and need to insulate the post from the outside atty threads (if you look on your connector you should see something similar. I'm merely inquiring where one might be able to find said part.

Yeah, you mean something to replace the silicone grommet, I would also like to know if anyone`s came up with a replacement for that !

Yes those, besides harvesting from dead cartos/atties, a couple of layers of heat shrink tubing will also do, and someone even used a piece of flat rubber/silicone and a office style hole punch and put a small hole in the disc that came of that.

Ahh grand. I just looked and bikes have these too, for running wires to the lights, but they look to be a bit on the large side.

It's not a through hole grommet. the ones on GM cars are the exact fit (after you cut just above the 1st flange)
