Ok so I know that kanger subtank .5 ohm coils are good for up to like fifty watts and the subtank 1.2 coils are good for up to 26 watts, my question is this kanger has released vocc coils pretty much the same coils they have for the aero tank , genitank ,etc except now they have organic cotton like the subtank coils. Is it safe to think that the 1,2 and 1.5 ohm vocc coils will be safe as the 1.2 and 1.5 subtank coils at the 26 or so watt range, if not how many watts are safe so I don't burn them to hell

depends on the wire gauge, as to how high you can push the power...... IF the coils FIT, they should fire, BUT, remember if you push too much juice through a coil at one time it will blow. The amount of wire has nearly as much to do with your questioon as the OHM rate. High ohm coil that draws 7watts, naturally, could be made to handle a lot of PUSHED wattage if you make it with fat wire. Inverse is you could make a .5ohm coil that would pop at 7watts, using real thing wire.

Thanks that was a big help, I guess the wires on the subtank coils are thicker than the ones in the regular coils...I'm just happy that they got rid of the old fiber wicks and went to cotton the taste is much better

Play with a coil building calculator. Steam Engine | free vaping calculators If you were to say guess or measure or estimate the ID of the factory coil and count the wraps. You could figure out the wire that was used.

All the aerotank coils seem to dry hit at pretty low temps. The .5's that go to 50 watts aren't out yet (they come with the subox so we should hear more about them in the next few days) The normal .5's go to 30 watts but really shine at 20-25. I wouldn't take the aerotank coils higher than 15 watts but if you do and they don't dry burn than you are okay.
