Which 1.2ohm Coils Do You Use?

So,

I order a 5 pack of 1.2ohm Kanger OCC coils and the first two coils have died in 3 days. I ordered these -

5 Pack Kanger Subtank OCC coil atomizer head for Subtank Subtank mini Subtank nano (1.2 ohm): Amazon.co.uk: Health & Personal Care

I properly primed them and even let them sit overnight while I used the juice on remaining on my previous tank before the subtank mini.

I ran both coils between 12w-15w, well below the max recommended 25w.

So I go to the kanger site to see what my options are for the subtank mini and come across these reviews for the coils I'd purchased (OCC)

Kanger OCC (Organic Cotton Coil)

That says it all really - I'm in the same boat as all of those people!

So what are my options for a coil that will last more than a day before it tastes burnt and disgusting with every hit?

Must have been a bad batch of coils that you got there. What I usually do with my 1.2 on my STM is I take a small needle and poke holes through the cotton to the coil to help juice flow. Hope that helps.

Did you notice, the link you provided - Amazon.uk - fulfills these from Vapeworld and they are made by VapeJoy(clones), not Kanger?

In my experience, premade coils have become such a racket. The last 2 packs of a specific brand I bought, from different vendors, were not legit.

That's when I turned to drippers and RTAs, such as the Kayfun.

You do have to beware when buying pre made coils. I have only gotten mine from 2 sites, since they are oem and sensible priced.
Knock on my head, I have not had a dud yet.

Oh wow, no I didn't - I thought they were legit coils just sold through different suppliers via amazon.

Having said that, the authentication code checked out as OK on the kanger site....?

Where do i buy from to know I am getting legit coils?

Yes I had read that elsewhere also, I will give it a try on the remaining coils.

They are the only sites I use for coils.

I've gone through 2 of the 1.2ohm ones, one of which was the one that came with the tank. Both lasted a couple weeks putting maybe a tank and a half (subtank mini) through it a day. I usually use the .5's though.
