Hi. I've used e-cigs in the past. Been away for awhile and the choices available now are overwhelming.

Please suggest a good reliable apv device that produces clouds of vapor and the battery lasts all day. Price is not terribly important, though if something great is available and inexpensive that's great too.

Thanks everyone.

I you don't mind a mod that is about the size and shape of a pack of stinkies, then you should look at the innokin iTaste MVP 2.0. I've seen people saying they can go for a couple days on one charge. I's also a VW/VV, so you can customize the hit. A lot of places have then, but I don't know who has the best price.

The SID and Vamo are good to start with but you will also need batteries and a charger.
The KGO VV, eGo VV and iTaste vv version 3 are less expensive alternatives and the reviews on them are pretty good.

I'm planning on getting a smaller variable voltage device like the KGO VV because of the smaller form factor and then I'll leave my SID and Vamo at home.

Least expensive yet a quality device would be the above recommended MVP. Two versions available with a difference in price of about $20, so check the features and see which best fits your situation. I had version one and loved it (currently out on loan). However, it is made in China so repairs out of warranty will be non-existant, and who knows how long the built-in un-replaceable battery will last?

I have two Provari's, a standard size and a mini, and can't say enough good things about them. USA made and assembled. Nearly indestructable and the best vaping experience I've had. Dependable and reliable. Provape gives a 1 year warranty, and will still repair it after warranty for reasonable fees for as long as you own it (within a week).

If I could afford a Provari I would have one. I can't so I don't. I started out with 2 1300mah Vision Spinners. I was a heavy 2 pad Marlboro 100s reds smoker.

The spinners, a couple of Evods, and a 510 dripping atty got me off cigarettes and I am still using them all. I have bought 2 addtional spinners and rotate the 4 of them. One will last me all day. Three months now and still going strong.

Took me a few days to figure out where the sweet spot on my liquids was, but once I did, I can say that I enjoy having the variable voltage feature. The ability to turn the voltage up or down for a particular liquid is vital to me to get the best flavor.

The 510 dripping attys (you will need a drip tip also) I use all the time when I am home. I find they are the best way to taste and test your liquids before you fill a tank. Very easy to switch flavors and the atty are disposable. No rebuilding of anything.

I am sure you will be getting so many suggestions that your head will spin. Do your reading, watch some youtube videos, weigh the pros and cons and go buy the one you want. Enjoy!

I felt exactly as you do. Out of my reach, but I needed a longer lasting VV device, so I searched, for sale on Forums, etc. I finally found a used mini on Craigslist and grabbed it for the price of a lesser VV. It can be done. I saw one today for $130.

I felt like I should try out a decent vv mod before jumping into a provari. My mods were always mech. I think it should cover me for a bit.

You have already avoided the expense of stick cigs and gone with a mod. For what I have heard, the MVP is great. Would suggest a future purchase of a bottom coil tank, and if you are into tinkering, get a Kanger T3, Evod or Protank. Rebuilding the heads is dead simple and cost pennies each. If not you can buy stock replacements in differing resistance to match your PV and juice. Other bottom coil tanks include ate Arrow or Aspire, both of which have glass tanks.
