Considering a new setup, would appreciate some advice!

This is what I'm considering getting and where I am considering getting it from:

AGA-T2 Genesis Rebuildable Atomizer
and/or
Ithaka Adjustable Rebuildable Atomizer

INNOKIN iTaste SVD

UltraFire 18350 3.7V 1200mAh Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries (2-Pack)

Nitecore I2 Lithium Li-ion Ni-MH Ni-Cd Smart Battery Charger

Can I use the Ithaka with the iTaste? I saw a review of an Ithaka clone and the guy reviewing it used the itaste to test the ohms, but switched it to a mechanical mod to actually use the Ithaka. I just want to make sure that I don't spend the money and eff something up.

Overall how does this look for a new upgrade setup? Anyone have experience with any of these products or vendors?

Thanks!

I think it all seems to in order, except for the batteries you are planning to buy. It would best to pick some IMR batteries, like the AW, EH, or Efest. They are safer chemistry and AWs are the standard in vaping. If you are buying a nice mod like the SVD, you should get nice batteries too.

The Ithaka will work nicely on an SVD. As will any sort of RBA with a 510 connection. I don't know why the person you watched building it swapped it over, unless he built his Ithaka with resistance below 1.2 ohms. That is definitely not the only way to get good performance out of it, but it does look cool.

Awesome! This is just what I was looking to hear. So Fast Tech is a reputable dealer? If so, that's fantastic because they have some crazy awesome deals. Honestly the batteries were a shot in the dark based on number of reviews on Fast Tech. Is there a distributor that is generally preferred for buying battery/chargers?

Now I'm pretty excited about this purchase! Thanks again Fellow Michigander!

P.S. Trying to find a place that has the majority of this is stock is difficult, That's why I added most of the stuff from fasttech so I wasn't being charged shipping from 5 different companies :(

Anyone know of a place that carries most of what I'm looking for? Should I buy an SVD that comes with batteries and a charger, or would I be better off buying that stuff separate? Are the batteries that come with/built into some of these mods kinda poopy in comparison to the AW batteries? What about the chargers?

eeehhhh, IMR's are not crucial for regulated device such as the SVD. Basically with built in thermal, short circuit and under/over voltage protection the mod will keep you from over discharging your batteries, frying the chip-set and blowing yourself up. In a regulated device there's nothing wrong with an AW IMR 2000 mAh or protected 3400 mAh but in a mech the 1600 mAh would be recommended for the 18650 size.

More importantly, I did not care for the AGA-T2. The build on it can be a SOB; the positive and ground connections are too far from the wick hole IMHO. You might look at an RSST, it's not w/o issue but I found the build to be easier. You might also consider the AGA-TD, although I don't have experience with that atty so I can't comment. Looks pretty cool, dual coils.. but I don't think you could drive duals efficiently with the SVD. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Yeah, I have ordered from Slowtech in the past, I always got my order within 10 days but I have also hear horror stories about shipping times. My guess is that may happen if you order something that is not in stock (?).
