It's past time for me to get a second battery so figured 2nd battery is upgrade time....
been trying to learn and review for sometime but just want to make sure before I waste money is this a good kit will it work?

And yes I am one of weirdos that actually likes the look of the pv :p
instead of buying what I was told was their crappy kit was to buy a better charger and batteries

$36.11 TECS MSK-2000 Variable VW OLED E-Cigarette Mod Battery Compartment w/ LED Flashlight - brown / 0.55" OLED / 1*18650 / 1*18350 / 2*18350 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

$15.05 Nitecore I2 Lithium Li-ion Ni-MH Ni-Cd Smart Battery Charger - US plug / 2-channel charger at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

[edit]previous battery I posted said unprotected...so I'd need 2 of these?
http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10003762/1271001-icr18350-18350-3-7v-900mah-rechargeable-lithium

are the batteries good? will they work for this?

they are full size 18650's
but they are panasonic icr batteries and I would not use these in a regulated mod as they are not high drain batteries the amp limit is 6.8 amps you need 10 amp-ers, I do not like the way polar added an extra plate with their name on the bottom (added resistance).

get these instead i have 4 of them they rock.
$13.62 Panasonic NCR18650PD 18650 3.6V 2900mAH Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries (2-Pack) 2-pack at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

if you can find them in a package even better.

and this charger
$32.89 XTAR VP1 Dual Channels Multi-Functional Li-Ion Battery Charger - US plug at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

little bit more but worth every penny.

I cannot comment on the nightcore, i never used one.

the nicore charger a few vape friends here actually recommend it, they all use it no issues so prob will go with it...
but batteries I have no idea about...wanna make sure I'm getting the right batteries for the PV....I know enough not to buy any of the batteries with "fire" in their name and nothing that says unprotected....other than that I'm lost.

you have to make sure they are high drain batteries, fasttech doesnt seem to post all the little details, but usually in the discussion area someone will ask the drain limit.

in a regulated (vv/vw) mod we have to use high drain batteries so the mod can make the extra voltage
aw is on everyones shortlist.

mnke
sony
panasonic
all make high drain and have proven themselves to good brands.

if it weren't for fasttech I'd not be able to afford vaping....
wish other companies would catch on and start offering affordable supplies
just cuz it's a knockoff doesn't always mean bad quality...just because it's namebrand doesn't always mean good quality....and so far fasttech has been pretty good about correcting quality control unlike some other higher priced companies ;)
