I have been vaping with a a smoke 51 duo for a couple of weeks now, and just ordered a couple liquids from tasty vapors. I was going to try refilling the carts for the 51 but am now considering switching to a different ecig altogether. I was specifically looking at the joye 510 kit from cignot, which comes with a PCC case. Is this a good idea I guess is what I am asking. How does refilling carts go with the 510 and is it a good model to use for refilling? I am trying to cut costs by vaping instead of smoking, I figure I can cut my costs in half by using the joye with some juice. If anyone owns one and could share their opinion of it that would be great.

If you're thinking of a 510 you might also take a look at the ego. It's the same set up just has a battery that lasts anywhere from 6-12 hours YMMV depending on how much you vape. Mine last about 7 hours but it rarely leaves my hand :) Good luck on welcome to ecf.

BTW-cignot is a reputable vendor and has great customer service and ships lighting quick.

I have an eGo and I cant tell you how amazing it is.
I LOVE it and I had a 901 before and it was not my style.
If you want to have a good piece thats slim and portable, go with the ego.
If you dont mind size and dont care if people see you smoking something huge you might want to give the Screw Driver a try!
I am thinking about getting one aswell.
Just search the forums and get a feel for what you think you might like.
I looked for 2 days like non stop and when I saw the eGo I knew.
Good luck and if you need help PM me or hit up my profile!!!!!

I am pretty new to vaping, but wanted to chime in. I started with the 901, and moved to the joye 510 from cignot. I am very pleased with my decision. As for saving money, refilling your own carts will definitely save you money over buying them filled. I'm also looking into making my own juice, which will save more money. Been looking at the DIY forum on here to learn. :)

I started out using a KR808D-1 (2-piece) that uses the cartomizer which is the atty and cart in one piece and quit smoking after 36+ years instantly with it. But after my first week I ordered the same Joye 510 from Cignot and have been a very happy camper for almost 7 months now.

You will not be disappointed with it. The 510 is one of the most popular and dependable e-cigs out there and lots of mods available. The only downside of the 510 I found was the batteries that come with them only lasted me about 2 hours on a full charge. I may be wrong but I think those original batteries only have a capacity of 170 mA. The 510 Mega batteries have a capacity of 280 mA. Milliamperes (mA) is simply the amount of power the battery can hold, the more mA then the longer it will last before recharging. The EGO that was mentioned earlier (and sold at Cignot) has batteries that each have 650 mA and lasts 6-8 hours depending on how much you vape. I have mods that use the 14500 - 900 mA batteries that last me 8 hours and one that uses the 18650 - 2400 mA batteries that lasts more more than 2 full days.

You may find that the 510 carts do not last as long as some cartomizers when filled with juice, but are much easier to refill. Simply pull the cart off, fill it with juice and go. There are many different filler materials and cart mods you can use that only make them even better.

I highly recommend the Joye 510 from Cignot and always purchase my parts from them because they are genuine Joye brand.

Good Luck!

I started with a rebranded 510 from electronic cigarettes inc before I found this place and INSTANTLY quit tobacco. I found this place with all of its knowledge and bought several 510 sets and accessories from cignot. I bought a CHUCK and my 510 gear is now banished to the back of one of my cabinets with my daughter stealing parts here and there, ( which I am GLAD for! Good for her!). I just ordered a Mr. Puffer and am currently saving for a GG along with an afs......

Welcome to the forums, read read read and read some more, there is a wealth of info here!!!!
