Save yourself some $ and get a Chuck or Little Chuck instead. half the price, and comes in colors
.
As far as 801, 901, 510 dilemma... here is my take:

510. very good draw, nice warm vapor, but vapor is too hot and burned after 4 good drags, without about 3-4 min cool down time, at 3.7v

801. works decently, lots of room in the cart for juice, but really needs to be at 5-6 volts, but even then, it is finiky about working.

901. I can draw over and over, never over heats, never a burnt taste, (unless I vape the cart dry of course, but this is true with all of them), draw can be a little hard if the atty is flooded or if it is getting clogged, but overall, this is my favorite. I vape constantly, so im not one to be waiting for it to cool down or concerned with it being finiky.

all comes down to personal preference, and how you vape.
Good luck!

The Chuck and Little Chuck are great, but don't vape at 5v, the Prodigy does.

The Prodigy is excellent, I love mine.

I like the Chuck, but until they start using a quality switch, I won't buy one. The Prodigy switch is often talked about, it is really very nice. Quality unit overall, you won't be disappointed.

well im definately stuck on dripping so i wont be worrying about carts and ive heard the prodigy is great on dripping but i was reading that the 801 is the atty that really does well at high volts but now ur saying the 901, sigh, i guess i will never know but my 510 does get really hot fast, i take about a 6 second drag on it and its way too hot after 2-3 puffs so i dunno

Ill give you that the prodigy switch does look nicer, but at least the Chucks switches have not just failed...

also i can only assume the benefits of vaping at higher volts but truely what are the benefits? im just assuming more power = more vapor in simple terms

kinda... depends on the atty

more voltage on an 801 make it work like a 510@3.7v
more voltage on a 510 make it better, but way hotter sooner, so more burnt taste
more voltage on a 901, if it is not completly soaked with ejuice, it will kill it. 901 does not need higher voltage, 3.7-4.2 and it really works well at that range.

Prodigy is a nice device. Silver Bullet is a nice device. GLV is a nice device. AdapteveR is a really nice device. Super-T is a super device. Given the same atomizer and same power, all these units will perform similarly. Your choice will depend on design features and safety features. Which ever one you decvide to purchase, you will likely be thrilled.

High-voltage vaping provides excellent throat hit and excellent vapor production. E-liquid flavor may suffer at a higher voltage. The units mentioned above can vape at either 3.7ish volts (typical e-cig voltage) or at 5 or 6 volts.

Actually they have (dropping accidents though), but it is totally cheap compared to the quality of the rest of the unit. Looks bad, and not a comfortable feel under your finger/thumb.

Silver Bullet's button is by far the best imho....

I agree, the SB takes it up a notch.

So no, they have not just "failed". They have been accidentally damaged. Big difference. So how do you come to the conclusion that the switch is of lesser quality, when they do not just fail? The only thing you are going on, is that they look better, and I do agree with you on that. They do not, however, perform... "better".

everyone is entitled to make their choice on their PV's, but they should be given facts, not incorrect statements, along with personal opinions so they can make their own informed decision.

So I've got many of the high-powered mods (SB, Prodigy, Bulli Extreme, etc, etc... - I'll post pictures someday). In my experience, I've found the AdapteveR to be my favorite so far. It looks good, vapes great, and feels like a high-quality piece of equipment. What's more is it's truly adaptable. They've got quality adapters for 801, 901, 510. And they've got two different high voltage sleeves (CR2 and CR123) both allowing for 6V.

I like the Prod but I like my AdapteveR better. I'm not trying to sell you on one or the other, just stating an opinion (and yeah, I've got the adapters for my Prodigy as well).
