Constantly losing cartridge fluval

Each time I begin vapping on my new riva 510 I find to taste a nasty burnt taste maybe 10 minutes into my sessions. I take it apart to find that damn fluval (filler stuff in cartridges) out side of the cartridge and sitting halfway in my atomizer. This is happening every time I use it, any tips to fix this from happening? Thanks

I found (back when using fluval) that the amount in the cartridge is too much. Cut it in half and sit it just under the lip of your cartridge (about a millimeter below the end of the cartridge). hth

Sounds like it's sticking to the mesh and possibly burning which is why it's pulling out when you remove the cart. The main reason it would be sticking to the mesh is it's to dry. Keep it wet....when in doubt error on the side of topping it off.

It could also be catching on the mesh if you're twisting it when taking it apart. When you're inserting and removing the cart push and pull it straight out without twisting it.

And try not to make your cart's juice resist gravity too much. When not vaping I lay a cart ecig down with cart lower. When vaping I have the cart high so hopefully any that did leak will go in the atty.

And resist over-filling your carts.

I started out with the blue foam stuffing for my 510 until I stumbled upon this mod. I haven't turned back since! Takes a little practice to get it right and there are a number of variations, but the pyramid teabag mod has been the best filler yet. The material lasts much longer and the few times I've run it dry, the 'burnt' taste is no where near as horrible as other fillers.
