Hi,
I am new here and just ordered my first ecig a DSE901 starter kit. I also ordered one 20ml bottle of juice and a few extra/blank carts to get started.I have read many posts here in preparation for my new ecig experience. I have lots of questions and am sure that most will become apparent as soon as I actually get started, but my main one has to do with the cost ofconsumables (juice) use and the ongoing expences I should expaect not counting the initial equipment costs.

I realize that I will need to add in some costs for replacent batteries and attomizers. I am hoping that will not be a major ongoing cost though.

The really hard part is trying to get a handle on the costs for carts and juice to refill and or top off. So I would like some feedback on the average amounts of juice required for a current 1 pack a day smoker of marborrow lites. I am trying to gauge how many 30ml botttles of juice I might expect to use in and average month if I converted to ecigs over analogs. I am trying to look at the economics of conveting and how much I might save on a monthly basis. I currently spend about $125.00 per month on analogs. My long term goal is to quit completely but for now I just want to save as much as possible and quit feeding the government my hard earned mney in accessive ciggarette taxes.

So help me out all you seasond ecig users and give me some realistic expectations.
Thanks in advance, HopingToQuit

most people use 2-4 mil a day. as for expence many suppliers are having good deals at the moment ,so if you can afford it I'd stock up if you have a flavor you like and put them in the fridge, they will easily last for 6 months or longer(the bottle i'm looking at says 2011 experation date. as for other parts make sure its a model you can live with before stocking up too much. I added up the money I'd spent in the last year and freaked.Untill I did the math,I still had saved over 600 compared to analogs

On average, 3 mls per day here. But, it's hard to nail down 'cause I'm still experimenting with different flavors, mixing and such.

I replied because I was a pack, pack and a half per day Marlboro Light smoker too. Where do you live that could buy 30 packs for $125, by the way? If I got stuck buying by the pack in NYC that's well over $300 for 30 packs.

Watch for e-liquid sales and super sales from our suppliers. I just received 10ml bottles from esmokeronline.com for $3.75 each. That's about a buck a day for moi....

Your cig prices are a lot better than they are here! We have 3 that vape and we use about 5-8ml of juice a day. Me personally, I probably use about 3ml myself. I smoked the most and I now vape the most.

You will always have parts replacement going on. Batteries and atomizers go bad when you least expect it. It cost me about $500 to get us all set up and going and now I can keep all 3 of us vaping for around $80 a month, that is including parts, juice and cartridges. Since we were spending $300 a month on just MY cigarettes, I think we are doing really good on cost.

I'm not sure how many mls exactly, but I had a 2 15 ml bottle with my starter kit that my husband & I used everyday before we just got our new juice today and I'd say there is like 4 to 5 ml left in each.. it's been 11 days... I vape a lot... or so I thought... but obviously not as much as others...

You're just getting started, lol Wait, just wait. I can't put this ecig down long enough to do anything but eat and sleep, and lately I've been waking up and grabbing a few vapes at nite. I think I have a new addcition, lol

Since you are or were a Marlboro Lights smoker, What juice/juices do you use to replace your taste buds.

I was a ML smoker and I love the TN Cured from Johnson Creek and the Ruyan #4 from Ruyan direct. For me they are the closest to Marlboro that I've found. None of the Marlboro flavored juices have come even close.

I like several different juices, but the 2 that really do it for me so far are the TAB (#1) from Ruyan (Heaven's Gifts) and the Marlboro (#2) from Trueman. Obviously, there may be some variation between batches, and also our tastes aren't going to be identical. It's funny, but I noticed that someone else (I can't remember who or what thread) in another thread last night has the same opinion about the TAB. I do like the TN cured and even the Kona (not like Marlboro) from JC, though.
