Contact Paper Wrapper?

I am thinking of getting some contact paper to decorate my Subvod with. Is this okay for the battery? Can it cause it to overheat?

Paper is not the best option around liquids.

Here's the paper I was thinking of getting. I am looking for a medium wood grain pattern. It says it's vinyl so I'd assume it's water resistant, but not waterproof.

Contact paper is usually vinyl nowadays. I have used it to wrap an istick 20w. It works fine. The stuff you linked to is similar to what I used.

You can also buy sample pieces on ebay for a few bucks. I bought a 1'X5' sheet of carbon fiber look vinyl for around $5. It's designed to be used on cars so it's very durable. Search for "vinyl wrap" or "vinyl wrap sample"
