Morri... Your first entry... Oh how I cried... It's people like you...
You see...
#1 When I got out of 6th grade, my parents decided after certain events that a city ghetto was no place for me and my brother. On a leap of faith, we packed up the van and headed out. We had a plan, at first, until the van died, several states away and literally in the middle of nowhere. The entire story is far to long to post, but these acts of kindness such as yours, Morri, were exactly what got us
through. We were hitchhiking, as it was our only choice, and it was late. We finally got a ride, and gratefully were dropped off at a motel I think, I don't too much remember. What I do recall is the amazing person who picked us up that night, drove so far to find us the next morning, bring us breakfast, and take us as far as they could. And
throughout the adventure there were many amazing people, who did amazing things! Thank you, Morri, for being one of these amazing type of people. I've been
through some serious struggles in my life, I graciously accept them knowing there's a reason for everything and somewhere down the road the things I've been through will help me help someone else.
But Morri, I really want you to know that people like you are the reason people like me can maintain some amount of faith. What you did for that couple will be paid forward, and will not be forgotten. I know. I've been on similar roads. Thank you.
