Okay lets see if I can do this without mentioning anyone else.

I live for sex, stuff I don't really need, fishing, and eating. Really though, I live to learn and create. There is nothing better then creation, whether it be art, music, or building. To see a creation I have made work, it makes me feel almost God-like. Learning also gives me something to live for. I see no purpose to life if I knew all the answers and wouldn't never make mistakes. I live for my hobbies as well. Right now that's vaping, becoming a flavor expert, collecting PVs and drip tips. Oh yeah did I mention sex!:D

Errrr this contest is over

not really sure if its over. OP said:

6. Contest will end after 250 posts or 1 week, though that may flex a little depending on the amount of posts being made. It does have an end date though. I will update this once I see how the posting goes.

Now mine...

Screenname is BBQ and that is what keeps me sane in this world. When i decide that i am going to cook an instant relief comes over me. I know to cook good bbq(or any kind of cooking really) that i have to tune out the outside world and get into the zone. The meat/food has been chosen, the smoker has been fired up, the thin blue smoke is in the air...i am at peace.

Once it is all cooked, seeing everybody at my table scarfing down food, not saying a word...that is total enjoyment to me..

Thought i would share my joy in life. Contest or not contest, this is me . :)

What keeps me on this earth is my daughter and my horse. I have the best of both worlds, I live on a beautiful farm with access to thousands of acres, the Willis and the James Rivers, deep revines and lush green trails. We love to go extreme trail riding on our Spotted Saddle Horses (Tennesse Walking Horses), they are amazing creatures that love to explore and will take you anywhere you point them. I believe that they enjoy the excitment of an unknown trail and sliding down steep revines and galloping up wicked hills as much as my daughter and I. After my heart attack and my divorce my horses saved my life. I can get past my own trials and tribulations and lose myself in the wonder of these noble creatures and the beauty of the nature all around me. I haven't been able to ride much this past year, with two broken ankles, but I know he is waiting for me, patiently, and off we will go, to where? Maybe I will let him pick our destination next time....

Philosophy!
I am currently a philosophy major at csulb working on my masters degree. Yes i get the question: what are you going to do with your degree? on a daily basis, and my answer: Whatever I want..... Well, my actual answer is become a professor, but this is not to say that becoming a professor is not whatever i want. haha. I love, live, and breath philosophy. Many people are surprised when they ask me what my hobbies are and i say: nothing really, except philosophy. I don't really have a life outside of school. I love it enough to dedicate my life to it. My main areas of interest is environmental ethics/applied ethics- particularly animal ethics, animal rights, animal cognition, climate change, and things of that nature-. My philosophical studies have lead me to better my life, peruse my goals, and find fascination in something that many have not, something that can change ones life (kinda like electronic cigarettes lol).

Hmmm . . . Not sure if this is closed or not. But if not - I live for my time abroad in Ecuador. As a grad student of phylogeny and botany I spend most of my time in a windowless lab sequencing dna. But every summer for last few years I've gotten to go off and wander the rainforests looking for exotic and new species. And for now I'm living for August 4th. After this date, my graduation, I finally get to leave and live among the forests that I have come to know and love. Knowing that in the near future I'll finally get to be living a place that I find amazing everyday is such a bright light at the end of an often stressful and tiring journey.

Its got to be philosophy. I cant stop thinking its just the essential quality of who I am. I love to ponder the mysteries of this amazing wold of ours. paradoxes to postmodern theory and back again to try to understand what it is to have knowledge in the first place. what I love most about it though is that when a really good question gets in my head I cant let it go. i wake up wondering only to fall asleep again still trying to puzzle it out. when im on the hunt i am as obsessive as any and as fascinated as a child staring at a starry night. wonder mystery fascination and the thrill of the deepest intellectual challenge that's what moves me forward. i used to spend that time smoking pack after pack of analogs like a ritual. now i have my ecig to keep me company as i plum the depths of what there is to know. :) may your passions be like a gale that drives you forward to new horizons and new adventures. and thanks for the contest

I live for my goal. Ever since I was 14 I have had the dream of living in Japan (yeah, anime otaku to this day and proud); after going there with the Navy for 15 months, finding the love of my life, and some of the best friends I have, my dream transformed into an obsession. I currently go to school majoring in English and minoring in education; I hope an English bachelors will have enough pull to get me in front of the crowd waiting, get me into the country I have come to love with all my heart, and land me a steady teaching job.

One of the things I like to do to clear my mind is play GTA San Andreas online. Normally, I don't get a lot of pleasure out of video games... but I love this because there are anywhere from 30 to 200 people in the game all at once and we kill each other. So unlike the ordinary video game, you're killing real people as opposed to computer generated opponents... and they HATE being killed. Heres a little taste...

I live to see glowing orange sunsets, and moonlight glistening on the ocean waves.

I live to hear the hoot of a night owl, and the sound of a baby's giggle.

I live to feel the whisper of the wind, as it tangles my hair in it's breeze.

I live to feel the warmth of the sun on my bare shoulders, and the first taste of snow on my tongue.

I live to feel the soft silkiness of my cat's fur, and the sweet contentedness of her purr.

I live for the simple luxury of a bubble bath, and for that last page of a book I couldn't put down.

I live to taste my morning's coffee, and my very first vape of the day.

I live for all the sweet 'little' things in life, that fill my heart with such joy.

I live to hear.
I live to see.
I live to touch.
I live to taste.
I live to feel.
I live to experience.
I live to appreciate.
