I love my mom because she gave me my night-owl gene. I'm always up late and it's really helped me with my career. My boss always thinks I'm working too hard just because I send emails at 3AM. Lol
My mother taught me that Jeopardy is a great way to test your intelligence among your family. I always remember watching that as a family. Oh, I come from a family of nerds... Well except for my sister. Let's just say she's the two lower case letters on the punnett square.
I love my mom because she consistently supported me in anything I decided to do. Even the bad things she'd say "Well I don't approve, but I still love you." That has always stuck with me.
I love my mother because even though she was a devote baptist women, a Sunday school teacher, and a christian school teacher, she somehow managed to wear multiple piercings in her later years.

I love my mom for teaching me how to care for fine china and silver flatware - and my grandma for getting hers out even though it was "just us" coming to visit
