#7 I am thankful for being 5 years cancer free and not having to smoke anymore. You see, even though I went through chemotherapy and all the fear and uncertainty that comes along with cancer, I still found myself wanting a cigarette(or so I thought). What I really wanted was the nicotine. So after about 6 prescription's of chantix, I finally caved and decided to see what this vaping craze is all about.Another scam, or get rich scheme? You know, "get in , Get out". Well what I discovered was the opposite- that vaping really is harm reduction. So it took me a long time to learn that the only thing that I know for sure, is that I do not know anything for sure.Happy Thanksgiving.

#9 I am thankful for the amount of birthday wishes that I received one week ago today, from numerous people that I had never even met.The beauty of it is that they meant it. Heck, some of you even sent me gifts for my birthday, and you guys really touched my heart with all of the kind words and support you have shown.I am also thankful to be able to reach out to those of you who need a genuine friend, not just someone that uses you for what you can do/give them , and then all of a sudden- something comes up and you rarely hear from them at all.I promise all of you that I am not a shallow or selfish person. I am humble and very loyal to friends that I have the privilege of becoming close to. THANKS GUYS AND GALS.......Richie.
