OTGB, I really like that, but it's sort of .. Well it looks like an adult male buck LOL. I need a sweet baby deer.. Like Bambi. She loved Disney so I want it to look sort of like the Disney style animation.

I realized after I did it what you were looking for. I wasnt sure if you wanted it "cartoony" or not.

Here is adifferent version:

That's a bit more like it! hhehe.. I really love the banner design. And wow, I love what you did with the deer, you're a wiz in photoshop!

A couple suggestions.. if it doesn't annoy you too much, LOL

The wings, to me, look sort of birdy. Can we do something a little more fluffy? And make them white and glowy? And can the swirly gigs there behind the banner part be purple?

I know, I'm a nudge. But this is gonna be on my body forever, so I think when it comes to tattoos, it's the one thing you can be relentlessly picky about, hahaha. I really like it though, I can't wait to see what else I get.

You guys are all so awesome, doing this for me. I know I will have a few to pick from but they will all mean so much to me, that I plan on getting them all framed anyway. Thanks again guys.

I wanted to share this with you all, too.

Now, I'm not a religious person. But this is really hard to dispute. Maybe someone can give me a logical explanation for this, because it's seriously testing my atheism. My moms house, was never clean. inside nor out. Nathan (Her boyfriend) worked around the clock and my mom was too unhealthy to really clean let alone, do any sort of gardening. There is no way that either of them planted a rose bush. perhaps it was the previous owners. But even so, no one ever noticed that it was there. And on Sunday, when she was found, it certainly was not there. There were at least 5 of us there waiting on the coroner. Someone would have noticed.

But today, we found this, right below her bedroom window.

A beautiful yellow rose, brand new. Blooming in the middle of November.

I love lowbrow art and I immediately thought of the artist Mark Ryden when you asked for the deer. He doesn't really have any deer that's applicable but check these out, if this sort of thing interests you.
Mark Ryden's snow yak, which isn't a fawn but could be adapted

Sallana: a yellow rose has long been associated with platonic love or friendship

Here is the explanation from Justflowers:

"Did you know? Someone who gives you yellow roses at the beginning of a relationship is saying that they are falling in love with you.

Yellow roses with red tips on them show a warm friendship with a feeling of falling in love. When someone gives you such a bouquet, they are saying, “I am falling in love with you”.

Yellow roses have many more meanings: they can be a symbol of joy, delight, jealousy, gladness, friendship and new beginnings. Sometimes yellow roses show a promise of a new beginning or a welcoming back. They also portray a feeling of jealousy, caring and the wanting of being remembered by you.

Yellow roses show warmth and happiness in a true friendship. If you receive yellow roses from your best friend, I think it is safe to say she meant friendship.

I like to think of yellow roses as cheerful and bright – and as make ideal “get well flowers” to send when someone is sick or needs some happiness in their life."

This Friday, 11/19 will be 2 years that my son left me. I also have done four tattoos for him and will get my fifth on Friday. I have dedicated that day to put a new piece of art on me, every years anniversary. Snuck in a couple for his Birthdays too! The one I got recently was a saying on my arm in cursive,so it looks real pretty.
"When someone you love becomes a memory
that memory becomes a treasure"
I guess it's my way to hold him close to me everyday!
Sallana I am so sorry for your loss and believe me that tattoo will help a lot. It's like you will have a part of her with you everyday!

Sallana,
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I think the rose needs to be in your tat, I definately believe that. The little things we notice when our world changes

I planted a pink queen Elizabeth rose at my mums house the summer she got sick, it bloomed until the end of November that year and my dad or I would take one every time it bloomed, to her at hospice. She passed on 12/23/98 and I've since gotten one for my garden and everytime it blooms I think of her and all of the love, sunshine and roses she'll have for a lifetime....

with many hugs my friend ~Vicki
