Keep spreading the word. The more people talking about it, the less fear there is about it. Of course, unless you are a due paying member of the NSRA.

I also found out that even my very-supportive family members had picked up some bad propaganda somewhere, after I'd vaped for a YEAR, so I had to do this Q/A session with my sister-in-law:

Q. But they're not even regulated, how do you know what's in them?

A. Same as any other consumable -- Starbuck's, the local restaurants, etc. (If you are European the answer is they are regulated like any consumer product)

Q. So, why wouldn't it be fair to just tax them the same as cigarettes?

A. Several reasons:
1. The gov't claims the taxes on cigarettes are to pay for the health costs of smoking, I don't smoke! Or leave cigarette butts on the street.
2. E-cigs can be expensive and difficult to start with, but provide long-term savings. Why would we want to disincentize people from quitting smoking?
3. Would you rather have the old folks living in the flat next door fall asleep vaping or fall asleep smoking? 'Cause us boomers are starting to get kinda creaky.

I converted 6 hairstylists that smoke today when I went for a cut and pulled out my ecig.
I had a couple new NJOYs and gave them the whole schpeel. Long story short, I asked them to each write their MPs AND tell all their smoking clients! tee hee:D
That's the way to go. Good show !!! :toast:

Armies of consumers are nearly unstoppable by any agency less than God ... lol

Wherever I see someone smoking and happen to be there having the time I talk to them to get their interest and show them the way to the local non-scum B&M to get going.

A very very young girl, who I did not notice at the time, who happened to be at one insurance outlet where I demonstrated my superior 'Vaping Tech' contacted me last week what she should do. Her boyfriend had made her feel guilty one too many times smoking cigs. (Yes, we have lots of background allies in other colours) Today I saw her during lunch hour vaping on an eGo. One person at a time will do.

And yet another guy followed my instructions and bought an eVic and a nice big-... BCC clearo to get the show on the road. However one manager for the Parks Board is perfectly content to die as long as he dies smoking happily into the grave ... lol

I'm pretty sure if every Vaper spoke to 5 people they see smoking somewheres, the consumer power will be doubled in no time at all, and that makes it that much harder for the Gov't to ban it. (Not they they realistically can anyways)

I gave a lady that works for me an NJOY two weeks ago. She currently smokes 4 packs a week and her sister spends $600.00 per month on cigs. Both are in their 50's I'd guess and both have tried to quit with various NRTs with no success. I asked her today how things went. She said that she used the NJOY for one day (until batt wore out:grr:) and noticed that her throat felt better.
I sent her home today with a spare cig-a-like battery, charger and a couple 36 mg strawberry cartridges as well as a spare eGo 650 batt and 3 clearo's of 36 mg Camel, 24 mg Rum Tobacco and 24 mg Boba's Bounty!

I'll report back in 2 weeks to let you know how they made out!

From The Article: The measure's sponsor, Utah Rep. Paul Ray, R-Clearfield, says that electronic cigarettes should not be considered healthy.

"They're trying to sell them as nicotine replacement therapy. It is not," Ray said this week. "It is not an FDA-approved nicotine replacement therapy. There's medications, there's patches, there's things for that. This is not one of them."
The usual "You have no say or choice in the matter" legal rhetoric playing the categorically sanctioned "Harm Reduction" and "Smoking Cessation" cards they hope the public will bite onto for consideration and disposition of argument. If they do not recognize my right of choice, I do not recognize their right to regulation.

These guys are so badly deluded thinking they'll see much of any tax money. Who's gonna hand over an 86% increase except for a few noobs just starting out? Even an 8-year old can easily figure how to get around that.

Maybe it's a true public blessing politicians are such ineffective numbskulls. Anarchy might just be an improvement to the veiled police state masked as democracy ... lol

My local MLA is getting to introduce a bill this spring in Alberta that is far encompassing, but includes a provision to make it illegal to smoke cigarettes in a car with minors. I have thought many times about forwarding her some info on ecigs and asking or some sort of exclusion or recognition of them in the bill. I am concerned that if I bring them to her attention it could greatly backfire and have negative repercussions for the Alberta vaping community.

She is literally 2 mins away from me a few days a week, but I am not sure if approaching her is the right idea, especially after how anti PC I have been lately on my Facebook.
