So I'm building a bottom feeder I'm trying to decide the best way to connect the bottle to the atty. I'm using an igo l.

I think I'm going to drill the positive pin out and then drill a hole in that at the base of the deck for juice to come out.
I have a 510 connector that has a hole in it (vertically in the center) I've seen a picture of someone using a needle 16ga. I believe, coming up from the bottle thru the top of the 510 into the hole in the atty. I like this idea but I'm not sure if it's going to leak.
I don't want to order anything to get this done, any ideas where I can find surgical tubing or any proper tubing for the bottle to the 510?

Any links ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. This is my first time making anything or this fit the record..

I'm starting with the button, it's copper, with a delrin sleve holding the return spring. I was gonna use magnets but they kinds ...... me off lately, (poldiac Clone, while nother story).

Here's what I'm working with so far.

Turned down copper...

Turned down delrin, drilled, insert into copper...

Didn't find any tubing today so I was forced to play with some other stuff.

Got rid of the threads on the hollow 510, it's going to be press fit into the aluminum body, I'm going for minimum voltage drop at low low ohms so every connection is going to be tight.
Still trying to decide if I'm going to use the center post as the juice feed or if I'm going to drip the atty and run a tube up thru the deck...

I decided to see how I would like to run a juice channel or moat, around the deck... I always thought that would be a good idea...

poland, and the brassy lands of google
By the time that big chunk gets turned into something sweet, you could have an order in. :)

I had luck at a local RC shop, but here is something close, albeit 10' is overkill, and probably not the best source:

http://www.amazon.com/White-SiliconeTubing-16-Wall-Length/dp/B000FOEM3M/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

Also I seem to recall '1/16" spaghetti tubing' being something to search for, which leads to PTFE tubing, a variation of heat shrink tubing, which could be used also.

You know, the entire deck has a moat via the raised edge on the outer edge. Not that you can't add more of course.

Thanks fit the input I'm checking it out now, that big block of aluminum is enough for two actually...... Hmm...
I called the r/c shop and they don't have any in Stock, I ordered a couple feet of tubing from boggerbox should be here in a couple days,
I used the igol BC it does have that nice lip, adding that moat around it has made me pretty happy, I was thinking I wanted to run dual coils so I wanted juice directed to both sides and I'm really happy with the way it's come out so far, I've been dripping on it since last night with that nasty looking single coil at 0.7 ohm and I'm loving it, and I hate dripping with a passion. Gennys are my favorite, well n my r91 of course.

I'll keep posting pics every day I get a chance to written on it I want it done by the end of the week, I'm making it specifically for sub ohming so I'm shooting for VERY LITTLE v drop, or none at all... Has that been done, it's that possible?
One thing I wanted to do say chamfer the copper firing button going to be the main positive connection, and torch it blue/purple maybe, but I I've already sleeved it with delrin so I may not, it's tough to get delrin to cooperate while it's so thin...

I'm probably going to press a 16/17 ga. Needle up thru the 510, I forget what size fits best, then run the tub down from that to the bottle.

I'm open to any ideas, thanks for checking my thread out.

Turns out that was a good idea!

Next step... Turn this into kick ... sub ohm bottom feeder

Stay tuned..

Right on brother, I just got me a mini-lathe, and made my first RDA deck. That big chunk of aluminum looks like gold to me! I've been thinking about making my own juice wells myself. Where did you get the aluminum, and what did you use to mine the juice well? (dremel right? :p)

Thanks for the kind words bud! Fat juice wells are definitely clutch, it's like nobody knows that for some reason, also small chamber volume is key to flavor, I ended up testing caps and ultimately make my own that is 22mm on the outside, fits the igo and has a super small inside and it's a flavor machine that is our of this world.
I used a pretty advanced type of mill press to make those wells, I imagine it could be done with a dremel but it's stainless so your going to need the right bit and it's going to be a battle.

Here's a link to the whole project, it's been my daily go to mod for months and it's untouchable. I really recommend bottom feeders, there just aren't any on the market that are very good, that's why I built this one, it's a beast.
Lmk how yours comes along!
