A couple of weeks after I quit smoking something new came into my life, Ive never had before.
I appeared to be at an unstoppable buying spree.
Before this, I was allways very carefull with money, but since then, I'm using every excuse to buy more and more vaping gear and diy stuff.
It started with some kanthal wire and silica. Then a new VTR, then websites like fasttech came into view and for the price of a few a-cig packs you could buy one mech after the other and so I did.
My first dripper came in, my first rba, bottles of base and flavours and so on...

Partially because of a search for the ideal vaping gear and tasts, partially because of the government regulations excpected to come.
But those are only small parts....

It looks like I'm just a little boy playing with his new toys:oops:, like my daugther does with her new barbie dolls.
With the only difference that I can't stop looking for more.

Well, at least I'm having fun with it and that's the most important thing for me.:)

It's a slippery slope, I've spent my fair share of money on vaping gear and supplies over the past little while, but with the money I've saved from not smoking cigarettes, it's not bothering me in the least. One you find what you like your spending should slow down a bit, it's all about experimenting at first and seeing what's out there for you. All I really spend money on lately is juice, kanthal, and cotton. The kanthal and cotton is only once in a while also, that stuff lasts forever. I've got 2 bags of cotton that I wont run out of any time soon, probably wont need more for a year or so.

In the longer run I think it will be the same for me.
Now I'm still exploring and buying here and there to find out the best gear for me and practising steady coil-making. After a while i'll end up with some favorite mods rba's and drippers and only have to buy kanthal, bamboo, base and flavours.
