Hello everyone,

A while ago I posted a thread asking which tank I should get, most of you replied with the Nautilus, since I hate having to carry really big objects around I chose the Mini one, and it was the best vape I've had in years.
My new question now is:
What battery should I buy ? The old one came from an ego starter kit and it lasts about 2 hours or less, what is a good model that is not really expensive and offers a great vape in combination with my fav tank the Nautilus Mini ?
Also, and I hope I'm not breaking any forum rules with this question since it's more of a health topic but:
Should I buy a new battery ? I recently read that vaping a lot is the equivalent of 2 packs of cigs a day in terms of nicotine, also PG and VG weaken the lungs and make them more prone to viral infections after continuous exposure.

Thanks a lot.

The MVP 2.0 or MVP 20 might be good choices
'two packs', 'weakens the lungs' All I can say is BS. I've been vaping Reduced PG juice since June 2013. While I was smoking I could count on two URI's per year. I've yet to have one URI since I started vaping. And I did have what used to be called a cold (before they invented URIs) which I got over in less than a week. No Dr visit, No Z-Pack only Nyquil required.

I don't know where you're reading that crap. Care to give us a link?

As far as the battery goes, what's your budget?

Personally, I'd go with an itaste MVP. I know a few people with isticks and they don't like them. Something about using mean instead of rms. I don't know.

But yeah, check out an itaste MVP. In my experience, they're rugged, not expensive, and have a nice long battery life. Your choice on what version you get, based on your budget, but for a nautilus, the 20 watt version would be perfect.

Hello, Caponelight, and congrats on giving vaping a "go". :) A good battery for the Nauti mini is the eLeaf iStick or the Innokin MVP 20 watt. Either one will give you good performance; however, the MVP is known for its durability and has been tested over time. If you have local stores near you, check them out for size and "fit" before deciding which one.

I would question where and who you get your vaping information from. There is a concerted effort against vaping by the tobacco and pharmaceutical companies, state and federal goverments and any departments, organizations and associations funded by them. Please go to and join (it's free) CASAA.org. On their web site is all sorts of information and latest news on studies regarding the vaping industrry. You can read until your eyes bleed and still not get it all. However, you will become better informed than some of the doofusses touted as experts on this issue!

Unfortunately I can't find the links, but they were one of the first articles I found when I searched "vaping is safe".

A benefit of vaping is the ability to control your nicotine. A blanket statement like the one you read is irresponsible.
I have also read that PG kills viruses in some manner. So we have read completely opposite opinions.

Edit- I vote istick just because I have it and it works great in terms of battery life and flexibility.

You need a more powerful battery as it's a dual-coil tank, so it's got more to power. The istick is really popular, but I personally dislike the shape. If you like a round battery, I can recommend the Clover Overlord, which is 2600mAh, variable voltage, and lasts a long time. The only downside is the 24-hour charging period, but I think that's inevitable with any high-powered battery really. Evod also do a 1100mAh battery which would last longer than what you've got. Vision Spinner batteries are also good. These are all at the lower end of the price range, but that's what I use and these are the ones I recommend based on my experience. All depends what your budget is.
