I've been incessantly talking about vaping at work lately, as everybody asks what the hell I'm smoking when I'm on break (I have a Pulsar 7 battery which looks like a Riva 510). I had originally recommended the VOLT, but upon realizing he smokes Black & Milds, I recommended the Riva, as he said he wanted something larger than a cig-a-like. Think he's going to end up getting the joyetech eGo. I recommended stocking up in case the $h17 hits the fan in April when the FDA will most likely start successfully pushing whatever agenda they have (hopefully not). Also referred him to ECF, which he mentioned he had been browsing lately.

If you see this, you're welcome co-worker! Now go sign the whitehouse.gov petition at the top of the forum list page! :p

Good call, I can't seem to convert anyone! All I get at work is ridiculous drug references!

Good job, I haven't had much success with my smoker friends. They think it's cool that I'm not smoking they just aren't ready to quit. The experience has made me realize that it's a fine line between trying to help someone and aggravating the living hell out of them. I will offer to let them try a new juice but they often decline. I have found that women are far more likely to give it a go than men though.

My first kit was the 650mAh ego (that I still use when out and about). I got so many questions about my PV, that I went and purchased a few of them and when someone wants to switch over I just let them give me what I paid for the kit and give them some of my juice to start and some options on where to get juice in the future (and refer to ECF for more info). I find that if they can get their hands on it RIGHT NOW then they will switch. I also purchased some cheapo starter kits for family/friends to try out for a few days/week to see if they like them. I have had about a 95% success rate with converting people. I think I am up to about 30 people so far... but in my neck-of-the-woods, no one knows anything about vaping. I also find that printing out some brochures from CASAA to hand out works really well too.

WOW 30!!!!!! thats a good number of converts for not working in the industry. I've recently converted 3 but all three are using them switch between analogs and electronics still. I often find myself in side of the electronic cigarette store down the street (even though I don't work there) up selling their merchandise and have made quite a few sells but don't consider that converting beings they optionally walked into a store that specializes in electronic cigarettes themselves.
