Hey im new to making juices. So ive Got this one flavour and its really harsh. I think its cause its 70/30 pg/vg and i usually use 70 vg and 30 pg so i bought a bottle of vg and i put some into a 30 ml bottle. Now i have about half of the juice left so its about 7ml and i want to make it proper. Can anyone tell me how much vegetable glycerin i need to make it 70/30 vg/pg if u can understand what i mean.

The problem will be lack of flavor. You can dilute high PG liquid with a large proportion of VG (you probably don't even need a calculator) but it will taste weak.
If you don't mind the weak taste, add the same amount of VG liquid to the juice you already have.
Let's say you you 10ml of 70/30PG. If you add 10ml of VG, you would then have 20ml of juice with 13ml of VG in it. Another splash (10 thick/fat drops) and you would have 70% VG liquid, approximately. 100% VG is hard to work with.
I would double your liquid and then eyeball it. :) it'll taste half as strong as the original, but remember many shop liquids use a lot of flavor so it might be OK.

I did this system only the other day... I started with 10% flavor (25ml left in a 50ml bottle) and ended up with about 5% flavor. It still tastes OK, not wonderful but possible to vape, sure. I'm vaping it at 40w instead of my normal 20w. More power helps sometimes. It also is a 'cleaner' liquid now so less coil gunking.

Agree, if you add 7 mls vg to your 7 mls if juice you end up with 35/65 pg/vg, and dilute your flavor and your nic by half. Which, I’d be more concerned about the lower nic than how it tastes, but that’s not a ton of juice. What, a couple days worth?

I’m not sure why anyone even sells high pg juice like that. I can’t think of any tank that needs it.

There are some folks that like a high PG content.

Depending on the total volume left, I might just set it aside, honestly. You are getting into calculations that I don't make early in the a.m. LOL but also, you are definitely entering a point of diminishing flavor, and if you are okay with that, fine, but if the juice is unsatisfying, I might dump it. Of course, you may like it MORE with less flavor, in which case just do a bit of algebra, and that should tell you how much VG to add, and honestly I might shoot for 50/50 and see how you handle that, it would mean less flavor and nic loss and you might find 50/50 is totally fine. Etc.

" Hey im new to making juices."
Welcome and glad you joined.
One shot flavors (OS/Flavor Blends) are premixed flavors that are only designed to be used on their own and mixed with a base of Propylene Glycol, Vegetable Glycerin and Nicotine (at least one/two/all of the three). One shot mixing is supposed to be close to the flavor promoted on the bottle. These mixes may allow some adjustment of the strength (percentage) of the mix. OS Mixing can be a good introductory to DIY. One shots and flavor blends are simply added per directions to the mixer's desired mixing base, Shake and Vape (SnV) or steep as directed.
