Well I have only had my eGo for a few hours and I'm hooked. I have a class mate taht has looked in to vapeing but so far hasn't taken the jump but tomarrow I'm taking my PV with me and am going to try and get him convinced to get one to get him off the cancer sticks that hes is currently on.

Has any one else managed to convert some one? and how long did it take?

My husband converted his Mom. She really liked his 901 and PCC so she got the one he had when we got our eGos. Within a week she was analog free. Next was our oldest daughter with a 510. She says she uses it regularly and she's ready to add a few back ups so she's never without. I won't say she's completely converted yet. Yesterday I set my Mom up with one of my eGo kits and hopefully by the end of the week she'll be converted as well.

A client of ours had been curious about them but hadn't taken the leap yet. My husband went to her office on Friday for a new PC install and took his eGo in a lanyard with him. When she saw it she started asking all kinds of questions. We actually put together a "newbie" e-mail for her so she could look at different vendors for different things. All ECF vendors of course. She texted me Friday night and had ordered an eGo kit. Hopefully she'll be analog free after hers comes in.

I converted a colleague at work... but he still switches back to analogs some. I admit, I smoke the odd analog now and then, but compared to 2 packs a day.. I probably smoke less than a pack a week now. Big problem with friend, and also me, is its troublesome always rejuicing, batteries dying.. We have rn4081 compatibles, and carts hold only like 5 drops of juice. I really like cartos, but they all started tasting burnt... took the bulk filling out and now they are great, expect leak if fill too much... batteries though another story, down to 2 semi-functioning ones.. Just ordered a RIVA starter kit, hopefully that will keep me on track!

I've got 3 converts under my belt ;) but there is always the few that no matter what want nothing to do with the converting over. You can lead a horse to water but can't make em drink. The more converts we get the better it is for all of us, I'm just not going to be forceful about it as that tends to get the resisters even more fired up.

I let my daughter's bf use my 901 kit. He liked it for the most part, so I bought him a 510 kit which he liked a lot better (manual batteries). He stuck with it a couple weeks so I let him borrow one of my eGo setups... He's doing really well now. He hasn't completely quit smoking (but then, neither have I), but he's cut his down his analogs by 1/2.

Made my daughter really happy :)

My husband and I were converted by our employee who at this point in time is just not that into it. He thinks we're NUTS for getting into it as deeply as we have and laughs at us for bringing our tackle box to work when we're expecting a decent sized shipment to come in.

We've converted my husband's Mom, our oldest daugher, a client, and then my Mom. I assumed that MY Mom would be the hardest but she's taken to it like a fish to water. Hasn't had a cigarette in almost a week and has her very own eGo coming in the mail today from Cignot.com.

Trying to get my brother and sister-in-lw converted but I don't think that's gonna happen.

Good job - to everyone! I singled Kargonet out though because we're practically neighbors (in Big Country terms, anyway!) I'm out in Rotan, about an hour NW of you!

I have converts unlimited here. Seems like 1/2 of the small town I live in are now vaping. My mom is the one still on the fence. She just has her mind set that its not even close. Well... I got her some cartos yesterday and she really likes them because of the warmth. So maybe she will finally fall off the fence.

I have a couple of friends interested in my BluCigs. I might recommend them some other product, or just show them the differences between products, but.. they are very into the idea. I've shown a couple friends already, and they both said they really wanted one now. I mean, it's their choice to continue smoking, and it doesn't bother me.. but I would definitely like it if they switched.

I'm not evangelical about anything. I hate people giving me unsolicited advice so I try to avoid doing that to other people.

That said, people are just curious when they see me take a hit off my little box mod and blow out a lungful of "smoke". I have a couple of friends who are using me as a guinea pig to see if I'll fall off the wagon (or fall over dead next week). Assuming I'm alive and not smoking cigarettes in a month or so, I'm sure I'll have several convert notches on my belt.

So far I've converted my mother and sister but have failed on three others. They were interested and purchased eGo's (I recommend nothing else) but kept coming up with reasons.

I figure it's like quitting. You have to want to do it, not just do it because you think you should.

I think why it worked for me - I was psyched about the idea of being able to quit, but wasn't committed to quitting, at all... But then I tasted the juice, felt the vapor, and apparently important to me at the time, really felt & saw the exhale of vapor, and that was it - I was done. It wasn't that I was "making" myself quit, this time - it was just that vaping was so much BETTER.

I wish I had a magic wand to be able to find The Juice that would help people quit in one day like I did. I'd either be a saint or a millionaire. :p
