Just a tip, you mentioned 8mg nicotine but you may want to try something closer to 16mg or maybe even higher, idk. Suggesting this due to the high nic buzz of marlboro reds and the relatively slow uptake of nic from ecigs.

Best to order small amounts of juice in a couple of strengths and you'll naturally gravitate towards one or the other.

I smoke no more than 3-8 a day, I'm looking to get a pv to still get a buzz, like smoking tobacco and the flavor like reds.

I am willing to try any highly recommended liquids except for that dessert stuff.

I'm going to be honest with you on a couple of important points here.

1. You probably will not get a nic buzz from vaping. That buzz really comes from the different "additives" that the tobacco companies put in cigarettes. Causing the body to absorb the nicotine in an accelerated manner. And, some of those chemicals/toxins they add cause the buzz too. Plus, the nicotine from smoking is primarily absorbed through your lungs. Whereas with vaping it is through the mouth. Vaping is a less efficient way of getting nicotine into the body. Still, the nicotine craving is met very well via vaping. If the PV and nic level for the juice are correct for the Vaper, there is virtually no craving for nicotine with vaping.

2. Vaping will not taste like smoking. And, trying to match the taste of tobacco (Marlboro Reds) is virtually impossible, because that tobacco taste one receives from smoking includes burning of the tobacco leaf. Vaping is vaporizing of fluid. Smoke kills, vapor does not. Within a few short days of vaping, you will not miss having smoke in your lungs. Nor will you miss smelling like an ash tray. And, you will love getting your sense of smell back. Do your best to let go of wanting to copy the "smoking" experience and enjoy the nic fix and tactile pleasure you will get from vaping. It works.

I smoked menthol, probably one of the smoking tastes that vaping can best (with the right liquid) emulate. I have gotten my PV working well, and found a menthol eLiquid that tastes great. And, much of the time I feel like I am smoking a cigarette. Without the burning and stink of a cigarette. All of the time my nic fix is met, whether I am "enjoying" my vape or not. I don't miss the nic buzz....that was something I only got from time to time with cigs anyway. E.g. first cig in the morning; a cig after not having one for a few hours, etc...

Think of vaping like driving a nice new car after having a horse and buggy for many years. At first you'll miss the feeling of having live animals at the end of the reins, and some might even miss the "smell" of horses, as compared to the Corinthian Leather in their shiny new Cadillac. But after a few days of cruising along in their new ride, it's pretty hard to deny the superior comfort and speed of the horseless carriage.

Analogs are so 1800's! : )

Cheers...
