Converting TOBH to BF

I got in on one of those group buys for a TOBH clone and will be coming Monday. Since I've pretty much moved to Reos I was thinking about converting the TOBH over to BF. Has anyone converted one and have any images or instructions? I could leave it alone and use on sigelei but thinking it might be OK on the LP Grand. Thoughts?

Just grabbed a clone to try just that. Have an authentic, but the ctr pin was so fragile on it, already had to get a replacement from him. But I'll try it on my clone thus next week for sure.

I just did one the other day



The center pin design is such that drilling was out of the question, IMO. The bottom contact pin screws into the post and the screw is so thin that I don't see anyway to drill it without deforming or coming through the side.

There were 2 insulators, top and bottom. The top one I used wire snips on to remove a small sliver out of, the bottom insulator didn't want to come off the pin so I left it on and filed a v into it and the pin using the corner of a flat file. I have a slight tremor in my hands which makes using a Dremel a bad idea.

It then screws back together lining up the v notch with the open section of the upper insulator.

I love the AFC on it, it works great and is easy to adjust. I've only had one build on it so far and the flavor is great for having such a large chamber.

Hope this makes some sense and is helpful.

I forgot, I also filed down the edge of the screw to open up the flow, when I go to re-coil it, I'll take some pics.

Totally agree that the pin would not likely be drilled through the center successfully.

I drilled out my authentic tobh without issue. Still deciding what grand to get so it's just sitting here, collecting dust. lol

isn't the center post copper? If it is I would not recommend extended use as you can get copper toxicity if used with acidic juices.

Good point. I think I ordered without copper. It was an extra for this one. I'll make sure when it gets here.

Love it, seen this on Reddit and I thought it was awesome! Couldn't find any authentic TOBH Atty on my last vape splurge so I went with the Origen V2.

What kind of build are you running on that TOBH and 18490s?

I just got it in and it does have the copper center screw pin/post. I guess I will have to keep it as a dripper for one of my other mods and not turn in to a BF unless someone has some ideas. I don't have the tools to do it so if anyone would like to offer to turn in to RDA for me I would be greatly appreciative.

Would an igo w screw for in place of the copper one? Or maybe the Origen bf screw?

I hunted for an authentic TOBH Atty but couldn't find one but will follow this thread to see peoples impressions. I doubt the Origen BF pin would work but I don't have a TOBH to be able to give an accurate answer.
