I cannot speak for all multi-reo owners, however, I have different RBAs, different coil builds and different juices in my 9 Reos. so as the mood strikes I pick up a different Reo. They also have different looks, different feels and one is dedicated to hazardous duty, like wrenching on the jeeps or off-roading where it will be dropped, banged covered in grease and dirt.

I am in the same boat as FB. I have a hazardous duty mod as well, some with a single coil (Chalice, Divo, Rm2), some with dual coils (Odin, Nuppin, Cyclone AFC), I have different juice that are dedicated to a mod/coil/atty builds and some of my fav juices get double duty in a single and dual coil build.

I have one that is a loaner and is gone most of the time.

I have and use multiple reos for a few reasons...

* Multiple juices. It's easy enough to swap flavours out, but I like to vape several throughout the day and having 4 or 5 reos in play lets me alternate them at will.

* Multiple atties. Sometimes I feel like a mellow MTL single coil vape, other times it's all about a full, throaty dual coil direct lung draw, while sometimes something in between is just the ticket.

* Multiple moods. There's a lifestyle aspect to having reos. People love this finish or that. Metals versus woodies. Minis versus Grands. Add in swappable doors and now you have scores of possible configurations... and the freedom of expression that comes with that. Some of us who have multiples of these 'expressions' call it collecting, others a hobby, but most have this in common - it's a visceral connection to the gear beyond just the pragmatic functionality of the unit, like clothes. Some people wear one coat all winter, others 5 or 6. Same with reos.

I run 3 SL grands all with the same atomizer, all with nearly identical builds and all with the same juice. I vape nearly one bottle of juice a day.

So I use one mod a day then at the end of the third day or beginning of the 4th, I refill em all.

I run an AW IMR 2200 that gets me thru most days but if it's a really long day, I'll slap in a 1600 as a relief pitcher. I don't let my batteries go below 3.8 volts before I change em so that's why on long days I'll swap out if I want that fresh out of the shower vape at 11:00 at night :)

Running in this rotation makes wicks last longer, coils last longer and avoids prematurely recharging batteries.

I'm a lazy creature of habit and like things simple :)

I have six-4 woodies and 2 lp grands. Like others they have different builds, juices, etc., and all get plenty of love. At least two are always in my purse and the other 4 in a stand. They get rotated around depending on my mood ;)

And welcome!!! :D

WelcomeHectic!

I,too, have four Reos and expecting a fifth in a couple of days. I also have an RM2 for each one. I like to vape four different flavors daily and I'm a lazy old broad, so it takes a lot longer to have to change out the batteries, fill the bottles and change the wicks...

ahh..the wonderful world of Reoville!

I put a cloud chaser atty (little boy clone) on my hana clone, kayfun lite v2 on my 4nine and a cyclone clone built around 1.4 on the reo.
The 3 attys I got from fast tech all have fixed center posts, so it was a bust converting them to bf mods. I yanked, pulled, hammered to no avail. I think they are press fit, but I couldn't get the center post loose.
I got the tools to use the fat daddy tapes BF atty conversion (dremal tip to file down delryn insulators), and properly converted my tobh to a bf atty. It works way better than having the cut insulators, though I do need to grind down the positive post more. I'm sticking with the cyclone clone for now, but I'll probably buy an authentic in time.

I doubt I'll buy another Reo in the near future. Swapping batteries isn't terrible, and with the 1.4ish build my 2500mah LG batteries last me all day. I usually recharge around 3.5v. Filling juice bottles and squanking is much easier than constantly dripping, and WAY less messy.
I've got 7 18650s and just orders a few 18350s (for 4nine), so I recharge in batches once or twice a week.
I got a delryn button cover for the reo, but it causes it to spin to partially locked, so that the button is hard to press and some times doesn't fire. I'll probably dermal some notches into the button as it is hard to correct the button position with a single finger. I'm doing without the button cover for now to see how it goes. I leave my mod unlocked most of the time though.
I want an O-ring for under my atty as the juice seems to bubble up just under the atty in the catch cup. not dripping out, but it would be nice to have a better seal. I'm sure if it was true BF it wouldn't be an issue (authentic BF Cyclone for instance). the clone I have is meant to get air from the base of the 510 connection, but I drilled a hole in front of the coil and using the stock airflow to feed juice. It works ok, but its a pretty narrow hole.
I may also get some square bottles for the reo for a bit more capacity, and they are cheap.

Everyone uses their devices differently, I haven't needed more than 1 device at a time for a while, so I'm think this will last a while.
I have a week long trip I'm leaving for this weekend, and I think Reo and 4nine are going with me. probably 3 18650s, 3 18350s, a travel charger, probably 90MLs of juice and my 'emergency rebuild kit' (altoid can with screwdrivers, wicks, wire, drillbits, tweezers, torch lighter, nail clippers).

Thanks again for all the warm welcomes :)
I figured I'd post an update on usage for anyone that is interested...

First, a word to the lurkers:
If you are looking at getting a Reo and have the money, stop reading and just do it... :) Many people told me this while I was on the hunt, albeit more delicately :p but the truth is it is a fantastic mod! ANDD In the very unlikely event you decide you don't like it, you can quickly get verified to use the classifieds and post it.. Reo's don't stay on there long, and they don't loose much value over time either! Well, why are you still here?? GO! reosmods.com :p

So its been just under a month since I got my Reo in. See below (quote) for how I THOUGHT I'd use my setups... I was wrong :O
Turns out I use the Reo 90% of the time, as the reonaughts accurately predicted :). I put my tobh on it when I'm looking for some "clouds bro... clouds" but usually leave my cyclone clone on it as I'm more of a flavor vaper anyway.
For a few vape sessions a week I'll use my hanaclone with my veritas. When I'm out and about I keep my 4nine with kayfun in my pocket with a different flavor - but still mostly use my grand.
I've traveled a few times this month - one week for work and just under a week to visit relative for Christmas. On both trips the hana clone stayed in the bag nearly the whole time. I pulled it out once to let a buddy borrow it as his mech kept locking up... I showed him the Reo and he said "thats my next mod" after understanding what it was :)
I wanna sell the hanna clone so I can get more BF attys sooner, but not now, I'm still a little attached to it.. Its been a good mod for the last 6 months. Will be a good backup until I get a backup Reo :)
The 4nine was good on the plane and in the airport for a few short stealth vapes. Its also what I took to work with me as it is half the width of the reo and I didn't want my vaporizer to be visible to clients (professional setting in an area with VERY few smokers and fewer vapers). I was on the 4th floor, so I just vaped on my way to the bathroom.. the first floor bathroom vaping in the stair well :)

In the next few months I'll probably get some catfish modded attys (that marquise looked AWESOME and would be a great veritas replacement). I like my cyclone clone, so I may get an authentic eventually to replace it.
I think I want a Reo Mini after that...

Cant do anything too soon.. I did some estimating on how much vaping (egos, clearos, mods, attys, juice, rebuild tools/supplies, juice, etc) since I started in August 2013... worked out to about $6 a day... Thats about a pack a day, and I never smoked a pack a day!! I was about half a PAD at my worst and that was way before I started vaping!

Sorry for the long post (par for the course).. I'm easily excited into rambling I guess :)

I have my doubts, obviously usage will dwindle as I use Reo more, 4nine doesn't get much use now. I like the Hana clone because of the onboard charging, great for desk vaping and not having to swap batteries.
4nine will probably be when stealth is a must (airport, clients offices - don't want mod sticking out of pocket so 18350 4nine with kayfun).
Hana clone will probably remain on my desk for throught the day chain vaping, and Reo will probably be around the house and out and about mod... So evenings and weekends :)
That said, practice usually differs from theory :)
Time will tell :)

Good Post

I remember doing just about the same thing. I held onto some of my favorites for several months and they sat on the shelf while I kept buying more REO's. I kept a Zombie Provari for 3 months and never put a battery in it before I decided it was silly to keep it any longer.

Eventually all I had left were REO's. I now have 15 and want more. I can't wait for the Woodvil/Resin mod sale.

Glad you are enjoying your squonk box.

I've been vaping since August 2013 and have had:
Aug 2013: 2 egos
Nov 2013: 2 SmokTech SiDs (sudden infant death syndrome? I just now put that together...) $40ish each
May 2014: Chana mod $120 (I wanted it and one site had it, everyone else was preordered with delivery dates a month out... For $90)
July(?) 2014: 4nine $40
Dec 2014: And now Reo Grand LP $150

I broke an ego, piffed the other, sold a SiD, other is a backup for my backup.... I don't think I'll ever own 15... LOL but a month ago I didn't think I'd ever own more than one and now I think 3 would be reasonable (1 backup, 1 mini)... So who knows :p I get about a mod a quarter, but at the price tag of the Reos, that will probably go down to one every 6-9mos...
I'd PIF the other SiD as I haven't touched it in months (other than to pick it up when I knock it over...), but it's a bit wonky and I don't want to pass that problem child on to be someone else's problem child, and I have a problem throwing things out that still technically work... :-S I'm a pack rat...
That ramble just made me decide to get rid of it :) I'll never use that old SiD again... I'll explain the problems and give it to someone if they want it. It's an ok starter mod (15w)
