Hi there, I'm hoping someone can help me.

I just received my Reo Grand LP and a RM6 (stillare clone).

When I screw on the RM6, there is a big gap. It won't screw down any further. I actually had to adjust the pin on the Reo for it to fire.

I have tried a Magma. TOBH. and also a kayfun just to see if any would screw down flush. But none of them can.

Is my Reo defective? Has anyone had this problem? Any help would be appreciated. I've attached a photo.

Now that I had to screw the pin on the mod up in order for it to fire, the feed tube comes loose because it has barely anything to thread to on the pin. It caused the juice to get all over the mod. I don't believe this can be normal.

Watch the video on how to disassemble your Reo. You're going to cause further damage if you keep fiddling with it. Juice is getting everywhere because you either A.) disconnected the seal between the 510 and the feeding tube, which can easily be fixed with a dab of Krazy Glue, or B.) cracked the 510 itself when you were attempting to "screw" the 510 upward. The second option will require a replacement piece. Like I said, watch the video. Once you get that delrin cover off, you'll be able to see where your problem is, and determine whether or not you can fix it on your own.

WARNING: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE DELRIN SCREW WHEN REFITTING THE DELRIN BACKING! YOU WILL PERMANENTLY DAMAGE YOUR MOD BY STRIPPING THE ALUMINUM! ONCE THE SCREWDRIVER STARTS TO RESIST, STOP TURNING!

As far as your atty neglecting to make contact with the positive pin in the mod, a Reo should be treated like you would treat any other sans-floating-pin mod in this situation; adjust the pin on the atty - not the mod.

Good luck, and feel free to PM anyone here for help. Don't freak out; your money was well spent. You'll find the user support in this sub-forum goes above and beyond the expectations of the average vaper.

DO NOT screw with the 510 connector! If you try to adjust the center pin height you break the seal on the inside of the 510 and the result is a leaking mess. It sounds like you need to send it back now for repair.
