Looks like e-cigarette sales are going to increase in Chicago, as the cigarette tax goes up another $1/pack.

While most e-cigarette consumers staunchly oppose cigarette taxes, high cigarette prices have probably done more than anything else to fuel the e-cigarette revolution.

This is a meet held by the Windy City Vapers Club which meets in Chicago. This is not a small local meet but a meet with national vendors and many of us will be coming from all over the country. Dates are April 12 and 13. The link takes you to the event page. The event is free admission.

You might also want to look up Windy City Vapers, they have a web site. Good Chicago ongoing meet, I think they meet once a month.

I would love to have a local meet to attend monthly but there is nothing within 4 hours driving time for me in Calif.

Over 4 hours down, over 4 hours back. They meet in Glendora, which makes for a nasty drive on a Saturday. I should have better defined "local" I guess. Gas is 4.50 a gal up here and It's a full tank round trip.

You live pretty far north for someone living in Southern California!

I live in the high desert north of Palm Springs. I have to go west and south to I 10, some 70 miles part of which is 40 mph. Then West on I 10 to I forget which road to go north to I 210 on. Then west on 210 and then north to old 66 and then west on 66. California is not only a north south axis Traffic on Sat is the pits.

I'm going to be working down in LA for part of March and most of April with time out for the Chicago meet. Going to try to hang around LA before coming home to make the March LA Vapers meet, and if they have one after Bash I could make that one as well. Just hit them on the way home as I would only be 45 mins or so freeway time from the meet while down there.
