My girlfriend recently purchased a Cool Fire 2 and an XTAR MP2 charger and I got her some 18350 button top AW batteries. Everything came in the mail yesterday and so I charged up her batteries for her and showed her what needs to go where, filled up her i30b with some Peach juice and screwed it onto her Cool Fire 2 and loaded up her freshly charged battery and 3 clicks later the thing was working like a champ! We woke up, did some running around today while vaping on the first battery and did some running around today. On the way to the grocery store she said it was flashing 3X red, half second, 3X red. So I thought it might just need a charged battery. Stuck one in and it did the same thing. I looked on the instruction manual what that flashing is and nothing. Went to the Innokin website, nothing. I have no idea what it could possibly be. I am open to all suggestions

I haven't used my coolfire 2 in a few weeks, so I may be overlooking something.. However, the only time I have seen the red flashing is when I have a battery in that is running too low a voltage to fire. I'll toss in a (near) dead battery here in a couple of hours when my 18350's need a charge and see what happens. I'll report back, and I'll let you know if it is the same 3--3red blink, and I'll let you know if I think of anything else. Good luck cubey + girlfriend!!

Oh! I thought of something else. Make sure that the wattage ring adjuster is set to a number, and not in between. If the ring is set in between two values, it wont fire and will flash red as well. As far as I know, those are the only two warnings the device provides... It's pretty strait forward by nature, and I haven't unlocked any other features.

Sorry to spam your thread, but I guess there are a couple more warning features. I've been neglecting that poor grenade, lol.
1. If the device detects a load short circuit, Red LED light will stay lit for 5 seconds.
2. If you happened to put the battery in upside down, the device will not fire, and may give a red LED warning (will test this later, too).

Also, after re-reading your post, I noticed another potential issue. Are you certain you purchased button-top 18350's? The cool fire 2 will only accept flat-top 18350's.
