Ok, first off let me thank everyone here for doin what yall do. The amount of info really helped me make a good decision.

So about 3 years ago i started vaping and even joined this forum. I bought a joye510t and never really liked it. The battery life was horrible and it never gave me a real unsatisfying vape. After about a month i quit using it and quit vaping for a long time. Needless to say i went back to the icky sticks.

So fast forward to last week. I had already been wanting to get back into vaping and finaly did my research and decided i needed to get a setup i would be happy with and would last me. I knew right away i needed a mod that was vv-vw. I bounced back and forth between an eleaf 30w and the cool fire 4. I like both but decided on a cool fire 4 because it was only about 7 bucks more and could go up to 40w if i wanted. Not to mention it looks better and feels better in the hand.

For my tank i wasnt really sure what to get. I was considering protanks, the isub, aerotanks, the delta 2, and a bunch of others. I wanted to get a good bang for my buck. I also didnt really know if i should jump right into a sub ohm setup. I kept hearing great things about the isub tank and for only 12.50 i just had to try it. I mean, for that cheap i figured if i didnt like it then it wasted too much money wasted. I could have spent over 20 on the isub g but i know i wont be vaping any tank crackers so it wasnt worth twice the price to me.

For juice i knew right away to hit a b&m. Flavor is something extremely subjective and i knew i wanted to try some flavors before i bought one. So i went to my local shop and tried some. Turns out the first one i tried i liked the best by far. Its fire blast by cloud chasers. I love the flavor and the fact that its a 90-10 mix of vg to pg. This stuff is exactly what i wanted in juice. Not to mention i got a 120ml bottle for only 15 bucks. They had some super sale on it come to find out. I went with the 3mg nic level.

So i got my setup in the mail today with 2 extra attys. I charged it up and puffed away. This thing was hitting great right off the muscle. The flavor and vapor level is exactly what i was looking for. I love the adjustable airflow on the tank and the vw on the mod. The tank is an awesome steal for a starter and works really, really well. The mod should last me a long time and be able to fire any other tank i get no problem.

All told im into this setup for 75 bucks. Including 120ml of juice and 2 extra attys. I got it from MVS and am blown away with their low prices and fast shipping. My mod, tank, and 2 extra attys was 60 bucks shipped. I ordered wednesday night and got it this saturday. And thats from new york to texas. Awesome site, i will be using them in the future.

One small question. My tank recomends 20-35 watts but i love it at 12. Great taste, vapor, and smooth hit. Any problems with that?

Again i cant say enough good things about this setup, i dont ever see myself going back to icky sticks now. And i already have an itch to goto a local shop right now to get another tank and some different flavor juice to play with. :D

The Coolfire 4 is a nice little mod. The B&M I frequent is phasing out their inventory of the iStick 30 and is recommending this instead. Same battery life, plus an extra 10 watts. The iSub is an ok tank, but I have not had much luck with it. The recommendation for the 0.5 ohm coil is 30-40 watts. When I use it at 30 watts, the first tankful of juice works fine. Starting with the second tank, I start getting dry hits. You have to use it at or below 22 watts to avoid dry hits.

Please watch this video. I had the exact same problem with my iSub. Anything above 20 watts was burnt hits galore. I was cursing the thing! Then I employed this trick. Do just like him, poke the pin in as far as it will go on both sides. I now chain vape my iSub at 35 watts with great flavor! I don't recommend removing the screen tho. I did that on my first coil and it does spit back.

It's not the 'tank' the determines what wattage you should use, it is the 'coil' that you put in the tank that determines what wattage you should use.

Sounds like you have found what works for you. Enjoy it!

Have you got a link for your Cool Fire vendor? I'm happy with my istick 30s, but would like to add
one of those. If you want to try another good, inexpensive tank, check out the G S Air M.

Thanks for that tip and video. I tried it and dont get dry hits at high watts now. Got a super nic buzz though. I think i like it at sub 20 watts though, just my preference.
You are welcome, that's awesome! Hopefully Innokin will start doing that to the coils at the factory. Glad it works for you!

Thanks for the tip. I just tried it out Sunday night and after 4 tanks of juice, not a single dry hit. I may try a smaller pin next time than a push pin though. I think the thickness of the push pin is a little too big, it keeps trying to push the cotton out the wick hole on the other side. Also, now after the tank sits for a while, you get a really loud pop with the first vape. After sitting overnight, that pop sounds like a firecracker.

No problem! Yeah, I think I might follow your lead on the smaller pin as well. Although those coils pop like a firecracker for me any old way. That iSub puts out some clouds with some great flavor though doesn't it?

The cloud production is about on par with the Atlantis 1. The Atlantis 2 still chucks some serious clouds though. I'm using one with the Atlantis nickel coil on a SX Mini. It's very deceptive because the TC coil is very quiet. You can barely hear the sizzle and then when you exhale there is this huge cloud.

I've got 2 Subtank Mini's with nickel OCC's and an Atlantis 2 with Atlantis nickel coils, and an Origen V2 with a nickel build. For kanthal, I have a Subtank Mini, the iSub G, and an Atlantis 2 with the 0.3 ohm coil, and an Atlantis 1 that I am using with the new 1 ohm coil.

I have another Atlantis 2 and an iSub G that's still in their boxes that I'm not sure what I want to do with yet.
