Do you know when the 22mm Zenith tanks will be available alone? I like the look of the CoolFire, but I'd prefer not to have the built-in battery. Love the color choices, though. Can't wait for gold tanks in 24/25mm.
We don't have an exact date of release yet, but it surely won't be far away!

Look what the mailman just delivered! Standing next to my EZ.Watt which has helped me get off the stinkies about 9 months ago, the new Coolfire Mini with the Zenith 22mm in gorgeous blue. Already fired up on the same liquid as in the Prism tank, the Zenith seems slightly warmer. I still have to make up my mind (only an hour into vaping the two side by side) but the Plexus coil seems to have a more layered approach to flavor. Awesome!

Can one at least replace the cotton in any of the Zenith coil heads ?
I seriously doubt that. I see no need to really. They last that long that it makes it viable to just replace it.
I have the EQ pod with a plexus coil. Still on my first coil and filled it 12 times already.

Um I have not gone anywhere NEAR attempting to rewick that coil. IDK, it is HUGE and well I haven't needed to either because the coil life is so great. I haven't seen a tutorial on it either although I haven't searched.

I'm hearing mixed things about the plexus coil, but my hunch is that tank may not have the airflow to support the wattage needed to really get the mesh coil going so I've heard reports of inconsistent coil life, or coils burning out swiftly. To be fair, I've also heard good stuff about flavor and longevity.

I'm holding off on getting any until I use up the coils I have, that might take a couple years.

Wow! I managed to kill my Plexus coil within a week - through stupidity. I had filled her up and closed the top but not right through to the end so that the juice holes in the coil were still covered. Kept vaping until it was too late...good lesson to be learned here I suppose. Never had a burnt coil before and blah, it tastes just aweful! Now put the old-style 1.6 in the Zenith Mini at 11 watts and the good taste is back again, pheww!

I did a similar thing. It was emptier than it looked, goodbye plexus. I found out I like the 1.6 better.
Best kit I've bought in a long time. Only the stiff fire button keeps it from perfection.

So the plexus coil is like a mesh type screen and will last longer than regular coil ?
Regardless is the cotton replaceable because surely it will be nasty way before the coil goes bad.

Hi Dieseler. The Plexus coil heats up evenly and the heat dissipates faster than traditional wire coils which extends the Plexus coil life.

Thanks Paul, may try that coil head in future right now using the .8 exclusively to see how long it last we all vape different so need to see for myself.
Would be nice though to be able to re-wick in the case of the 2 posters above your post if they were able to re-wick that burnt cotton that occurred a perfectly good coil would have been saved and usable as a new one.
Had several nice email correspondence with P.B one of the creators of the Zenith.
Just would be nice to have another option to give the Zenith all the possibilities it actually could have for a larger audience to consider buying.

It is an excellent tank otherwise and works as advertised so far after a weeks worth of vaping it exclusively using no other type of tank.
But a fear as has happened many times in the past when a good thing goes to the wayside and has to be put on the no longer usable shelf because coil heads Discontinued.

I appreciate what you're trying to say but the price of a new Plexus coil just doesn't make re-wicking an option. Just chuck out the old one and pop in a new - it's not as if they cost an arm and a leg. Rewicking would be a waste of expensive time.

Could chuck out clr they do not cost an arm an a leg in fact may be even cheaper and re wicking takes hardly no time at all for them have done it hundreds of times as been vaping them for little over 3 1/2 years now except for the last week in which the Zenith has been vaped exclusively.

I politely agree to disagree .[/QUOTE]
