Chipotle.
most use nevr dull on their contacts
Over time Nevr-Dull will abrade away a soft metal such as silver, for a silver plated contact I would keep Nevr-Dull away from it as it is a very very abrasive cleaner. It will remove hardened cured epoxy from chrome, so that should give you an idea of how aggressive it is.

I use a product called StarSan ... When diluted properly its used as a sanitizer in the restaurant industry, but it does fantastic at cleaning up copper. Its primary ingredient is phosphoric acid, I use a heavily diluted mixture with water, let it soak for 5-10 minutes then rinse and you'll see the brightest copper you've ever seen.

Edit ... not so much the silver plated contacts though, a little isopropyl should take care of that.

Best way to get the threading clean, is with a toothbrush, brushing with the threading. Soap and hot water is all you need.

For polishing, I like cape cod clothes, so simple to use, and they work a treat.

For copper contacts, I use a citric acid bath. Little to no actual labor involved, and gets the copper to be that nice pale pink every time.

I use TarnX to clean my copper mods. Just put a little in a container and dip your mod and you'll see the patina and tarnish vanish. Take it out and I wipe. Once it's fully dried, I use Mother's polish to polish the mod and she's bright and shiny again. You can get TarnX at your local hardware store like Home Depot or Lowes.

i heard noalox builds up over time on threads, not sure if there's any merit to this statement but if true it would stand to reason that it would be even more pronounced on a copper mod. just food for thought...
It dries out over time. I prefer No-ox-id for threads.

I actually prefer nothing on the threads. So long as you keep them clean, there really is no need for something like noalox.

Furthermore, if your threads arent literally 110% spotless when you apply a product like noalox, all that is going to happen, is you're going to get a gunky, gritty paste covering your threads, likely making them worse then they were to start.

For this reason, I prefer to use nothing, and just periodically clean the threads if/when its needed.
