take everything completely apart, top cap & pins, bottom switch housing & spring and clean with "Nevr-Dull", then go over the tube threads and the outside of tube with the same.....then go back over everything with an ISO soaked rag & toothbrush on all the threads........double check & make sure contacts are clean if anything is seen then hit them with a pencil eraser, then go over the contact area's of the battery with the eraser....re-assemble and vape...works for me.

were practically neighbors!

after 6 months of using various copper mods and a Brass Surfrider i think yours is the best and quickest method i have used. picked up a tin of Never-Dull today at the auto parts store. i was using ketchup and an alcohol wipe but this is 10X easier and the results and preformance are stunning. works as well on the brass as the copper and looks to be several years worth in a container. thanx

I like the patina on the surface, so I don't mess with that.

I take everything apart, put it in iso, go over the threads with toothbrush, inside with toothbrush and q-tips. I use a scouring pad for the contacts. Make sure everything's dry before putting it back together.

EDIT: I'm going to try Never Dull on the threads :)

I have been using vinegar and salt but im finding thats its not as effective as I initially thought. Im going to order some never dull and see how that works. I just ordered a MCR because im tired of cleaning my black stingray x and there isnt even that much copper showing. they should clear coat the outside of the copper mods. Im afraid to use some of the copper cleaners bc some are abrasive and I dont want it to scratch the black off the outside.

Nevr-dull is quick, handy and way less messy than traditional paste polishes. Doesn't do quite as good a job but for all its advantages, close is good enough. My previous post describes my ultimate shine and protection methodology but Nevr-dull is so much simpler.

I have found that a soft toothbrush and toothpaste do a good job on copper mods. I wet the toothbrush with water and apply toothpaste to it and brush all the surfaces of the pieces of the mod with it. I then rinse out the toothbrush with water and do a final brushing of all parts under running hot water to remove all remaining toothpaste. I then dry all parts completely.

This method of cleaning is the best I have found and I have tried many different cleaning ideas.
