I getcha man! But your comment just seem to insinuate that patina transfer is due to "terrible" metallurgy (and that I'm using a cheap clone)... but after some reading and such, it appears to be simply the nature of copper itself and how it reacts to its environment.

But i hear ya.... some mod metals are probably better quality than others... but to be fair, i'd venture to say that it probably isn't limited to just cheap clones.

It's one of the reasons to hang back and read the reviews and let all the early adapters take the risks for you. It's also another reason to opt for stainless steel as long as the voltage drop and finish is of comparable quality.

Send a msg. Maybe they'll make one. Where's the button on your mod?

Its a bottom fire... But i'm thinking it might be a little tough to do it cleanly on the Nanos. It has breaks in the tubing and by design, they aren't flush. I can just imagine patina accentuating any exposed crevices. Also.. since its modular and pieces can be rearranged.. and even used in combination with Poldiac parts, I'm thinking that things could quickly become misaligned in all sort of different ways. lol. Assuming jwraps can take all of that into consideration, there's the much bigger issue of me having to apply it perfectly so that it all works well together and aligns as needed... Yeah.. I'm pretty sure that this won't be the answer for me... I think i'd clear coat it before trying to wrap it..

Just as an update: I haven't run out to grab any machining oil yet... but after googling a bit, i thought i'd give some mineral oil a try since i have it on hand. I just put a dab and rubbed it in with a microfibre cloth... I only meant to lightly coat the mod. Anyways... long story short, it simply cleaned up all the darkness of the mod and pretty much shined it up like it was brand new...I didn't expect that. Anyways.. if this 1 minute wipe down slows down the mod darkening and transferring to my hands, i'm GOLDEN! I've lost all Patina build up for the week... but that's really of no consequence to me... although those who may want patina may disagree. I don't care one way or the other. I just want to avoid the green hand syndrome. Hopefully this slows it down.. even if it only lasts a few days, i'm okay with that since it's so quick and easy. I'll report back after some use.
