Took about 5 mins w/a pc of scotchbrite to knock the chrome off. I think this is the copper layer & it'll look better after it darkens up some. Any way to speed that up?

i was wrong about the blowtorch but was fun to see! In fact all it does is to change the colour of it in the same way SS does - top of my RM2 is now a rather fetching purple colour! I'll post a pic as soon as HRH takes one!

Looks rather good on the vv Grand!

Will the purple stay that color?

I'm gonna do some brass by spraying it down with salt water and hanging it in a container with ammonia soaked paper towels.
- I'm pretty sure I only took mine down to the copper. That sounds fascinating unloaded & I'm lookingg forward to seeing the results! Please be sure & post up some pics!

I'm looking for more like an old penny color (to closer match the mods color) but that looks very cool Trunker!
