Wanted another fold up for carrying in a pocket so it's pretty straight forward....1/2" copper tubing (14500 battery), connector, end caps, chunk of brass, and tactile switch. Swing arms are a PITA (add'l axis to align and accommodating a wire that moves), but I might make another using the 14250 so it's stealthier

I like it. I think I had that brass piece once for another project, long before vaping. If one thing were to change, I'd say maybe the switch under the arm so that it shields it in folded mode.

I've used the same switch on top and bottom before so I thought about putting in a different place this time, but decided to stick with the end location because it's out of the way of the swing arm, is in a much easier place to replace if needed, and I've never had this switch pocket fire on me. It takes 300g of force to click which is pretty deliberate pressure to make it fire. I wish I could find one like it that's rated for 3 amps; I'd use it a LOT.

You said 'a' wire, so does the pivot/swing arm provide the ground?
