If thats the case, i might just do with some simple upgrade like replace the 510 pin only with a stainless steel 510 pin with a bigger squonk hole for thick juice..

Sent from my G3116 using Tapatalk

1)you can bore the stock 510 out to 2mm no problem
2)replacing the 510 connection is pretty easy (easier if you use a different bottle, i opted to use the stock bottle)
Not a how to video but might help you chose

Where did you find a sheet of silver that size so cheap?I've looked a few times before and everything i found was like 2" x 2" for over $20.Also what gauge did you use?

@b.m. found the silver on amazon, i bought 925 :)oops:probably why it was cheaper) i should have gone for. 999 and i bought 20ga, shoulda got 24ga instead (20ga was a p.i.t.a. to cut with snips)
Cool, thanks.I never thought to check there,i just looked at different metal suppliers and some jewelry supply places.

Silver must have gone up a little on the market
6" x 1" 16ga, 18ga, 20ga, 22ga, 24ga, 26ga, 28ga, 30ga Gauges, Dead Soft, 999 Pure Fine Silver Sheet MADEIN US
6"×1". 999 in 16ga-30ga . 24ga is 45$but you only need a little piece (same size and shape as the cv copper one) to make the contact (with enough left over to redo a frankenfake too, or make the wife a nice bracelet;):thumb:) i cut with snipes and sized and bored it for the contacts with a dremel in a drill press rig. Flipped it to the snake attachment and rounded it to fit. Process was pretty simple, if you have the tools and mechanical skill to change your own sparkplugs (i rate it between changing your oil and doing your own brake rotors) then it should be no problem

Thanks guys!
Which color did you get?I think the brass looks the best, but it is a heavy beast,so the aluminum ones work better for out and about carry, plus they look great as well.Really can't go wrong getting any of these mods,as long as you like mech mods, these are great.

I really like the way the brass one looks too but since everyone said it's heavy I decided on the aluminum, wanted the black but was afraid the black paint would wear away or get nicked. I loved what @TheWestPole did after he had his a while to clean it up & make the squonk opening smoother but I don't think I'm capable so mine will have to live with its battle scars lol!

I took the Black off one of my CV's. It really Isn't all that bad. I used 320/600 sandpaper. And then a Scotch-Brite pad. Then hit it with some Mother's Metal Polish.

The Key (for the what I wanted) was to Only Sand in One Direction. And when I did the 600 Sand Paper, I put the sandpaper on a Flat Surface, and the just pushed the Mod over it. Always going in the Same Direction.

I didn't go for a Perfect Polished Finish. More of a Fine Line-Grain look. Turned out Great.

I polished my aluminium CV with a piece of old soft leather and a stick of green polishing rouge :)

Just curious, did anyone ever find a way to get a good vape from the first generation CV RDAs? The one that came with the early CVs? I know they weren't well liked, but wondered if their were tricks to improving them, since I wound up with one in my posession. For those that aren't familiar they almost look more like a tank than an RDA, with windows to see inside.

I never had much luck with that RDA. It was a Terrible Design of where they placed the O-Ring on the RDA Base.

Since I had Other BF RDA's at the time that worked Much Better, I just chucked it into the NWFW Drawer.

What's a green polishing rouge? Use that first, then the leather?

Jeweler's Rouge is an Abrasive Polishing Compound. About the consistency of a Hard Candle Wax. You usually use it with a Buffing Wheel. But you can also use it by Hand.

Like Sandpaper, it comes in different levels of coarseness. And the coarseness is denoted by the Colour of the Rouge.
